Always have a good meal and they did say a 1 hr wait but understandable with the offer on eat out to help out but we didn’t wait that long and the food was again really nice and lovely service
The Honey Bee – DroitwichGreat service , super Covid restrictions and distancing. Staff were polite and attentive Food was good and the cost was a bargain with the eat out scheme
The Honey Bee – DroitwichI have never been so disappointed on a meal at the Honeybee. We originally had a meal booked for 8:30, when we arrived we was sent in the bar to get a drink and they would get us, this was not a problem. Until we had to wait 30mins before we even got a table and didn’t even receive an apology. I understand it can be busy but the service was not good. Once we was showed to a table, apparently children was sat on it and the server forgot this so we was stood up in the middle of the room feeling very silly. The children was moved to the table with their family and we was able to sit, however the table was not cleaned for us, this was not acceptable especially during everything going on with coronavirus. We was then told their would be a 45min wait for food, which we tried to be understanding about as it was busy. However when our starter came out I asked for the mains to also come out when their ready as we didn’t want to have to wait to have our plates cleared. Our starter plates didn’t get cleared for another 15mins, even tho waiters was looking around but never cleared them. and then we still waited ages for our main course. Once we received our main course we was ready to leave, I had ordered the carbonara and ate only a few bites. It had a hard skin ontop from where it had obviously been left under a hot plate, and there was no bacon in it. My partners dish was only lukewarm and he did not finish he’s either. I’m glad we had gone on a Monday as I would not have paid full price. Very disappointed and ruined what was supposed to be a special evening.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichTook my partner and 13 year old daughter, the service was poor. On arrival we were waiting a good 5-10 minutes before anyone came to us, told our table wasn’t ready so go have a drink first. Found a seat and 30 minutes later after being forgotten about we were shown to a table. Waited over an hour for our food to be served and it was cold. No one about to talk to, wasn’t given enough cutlery and no napkins. Not all tables were socially distance and being pregnant that was a concern for me. No organisation at all and not enough staff. Needless to say we didn’t eat it all and won’t be going back in a hurry.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichThis is perhaps my 5th visit to Honeybee and the first time since breakdown and whilst they have the gov 50% off offer. It's lovely to see they are back on their feet and making money, however whilst I enjoyed the evening with friends, there were issues. The good: - They took us to our table pretty quickly despite being very busy - new online ordering system is quick and easy - drinks came quickly - staff were friendly The bad: - The ordering app is temperamental, I clicked on forgot password a few times, no reset password email at all - from ordering to food on the table, we waited around 45 minutes - we paid extra for curly fries, we didn't find out it was sold out until it arrived, when questioned, staff said it doesn't matter as we didn't pay extra, we had to show them a receipt before they paid us back in cash - Ordered two medium rare steaks, both came rare - no basic condiments like salt and pepper on the table, I had to track down people at the bar to get it - whilst waiting for desserts, a lady came over and said our time is up and they need our table for others
The Honey Bee – DroitwichGreat service , super Covid restrictions and distancing. Food fantastic ranging from all day breakfast , mixed grill , jacket potato, and chicken with white wine sauce . The desert ice cream was delicious , just a shame they had run out of apple pie .
The Honey Bee – DroitwichOur second visit during August. Both with different friends and both equally enjoyable. A couple of years ago we visited regularly but a couple of poor meals one at Christmas encouraged us to meet up elsewhere. Glad we returned to Honey bee as things have improved and we will use it again regularly.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichHad a lovely meal at the honey bee Staff very friendly well organised and food was excellent Will be visiting again
The Honey Bee – DroitwichFabulous setting, great service, yummy food that caters for everyone without issues. Social distancing rules not a problem. Would always recommend - my sister and brother-in-laws only place they like to eat at when they visit us
The Honey Bee – DroitwichBeen coming to the Honey Bee for many years now and it’s always great food, great value for money and friendly staff.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichWe always come here when we want steak. I’ve never had a problem with the food it’s always been delicious and last Sunday was no exception. If I have any feedback it would be to say to warm the plates when steak is requested particularly the large steaks as they often go cold before you can eat it all. The pub appeared Covid safe and the staff were as helpful and polite as always.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichBooked, walked out before even getting seated. Stood at door way for ten minutes, waitress although swamped off her feet which we appreciate, looked at us twice, didn't say anything and then when my partner asked about being seated was a bit oblivious.
The Honey Bee – DroitwichHad a lovely time here on Tuesday night. We had the two rump steaks and a bottle of red win plus extras. The steak was cooked to perfection medium rare. Staff were polite and attentive even though it was busy due to the eat out scheme. Brilliant!
The Honey Bee – Droitwichon Wednesday we went to the Honey Bee for my birthday meal. I order lasagna which was OK and my husband order a medium steak. When my husband cut into the steak it was raw. We then sent it back. It came back out the same piece of steak at first my ysband was not happy to eat it but as he was hungry he did. Since 7pm in wedneaday evening g my husband has been ill in bed with an upset stomach. We have been given a free meal as we complained but we will not be returning. And the fact that covid was blamed I think is disgusting. Covid does not stop custimer service and properly cooked food
The Honey Bee – DroitwichFood was lovely and filling and I’ve missed the chocolate fudge cake! Went on a half price day and was totally worth it! Think we could have had a little more space from the table behind us ..
The Honey Bee – DroitwichExcellent value good food and service
The Honey Bee – Droitwichme and my family went during the eat out to help out and The Honey Bee was our first choice as we have been there before and always come out very happy with the food and service. I think they are doing brilliantly during these crazy times. There is a good structure around the restaurant area for social distancing, booking was very easy and the app they are using is also very straight forward. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed everything about the honey bee and will definitely be staying loyal to them. Not to mention this was our very first meal out since lock down .. very happy customers! Thank you
The Honey Bee – DroitwichDirty tables, flies everywhere, food was shocking! Never left meals before. Chicken appeared to be from a microwave, chips burnt. Looking around we weren’t the only ones with food issues, so much wasted food. Service was good though. Such a shame it’s gone downhill. Can’t blame Covid for poor quality food.
