Baydale Beck Inn – Darlingtona very enjoyable meal well presented in nice comfortable surroundings
Seaton Lane Inn – SeahamBeautiful cooked pub food, well presented. Huge portions and not too pricey on the pocket. I can highly recommend the mixed grill, so large the chips come on a separate plate! Desserts like you were back at school, brilliant value!
Colliery The – CrookHad a lovely meal and drink here. The menu has all the usual bar meal essentials plus the presentation and service were very good. Could only get a seat in smoking area on a busy Saturday night so looking forward to new non-smoking in public places rule.
Shuttle and Loom The – Darlingtonthe service was excellent and the food was quick and on time, very good i will be going back there again soon, the waitresses were also very polite
Beefeater Grill – DarlingtonI really liked the food here, there is plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. It's not very expensive and sometimes there is a lunch menu on at a cheaper price for set dishes but they only put it on when its not busy which isn? very fair. Cocktails were a treat and the bar staff are trained well on how to make them. Overall a nice experience but I don't think I?e been there when there hasn't been a birthday song!
Frankie and Bennys – Stockton-On-Tees£8.99 for all you can eat but it's all cooked fresh for you!!! Amazing!!! There are so many choices as well, and most of them are traditional chinese dishes rather than the same stuff you get from a take-away. The price included; soup, appetiser, main dish and noodle or rice side dish. Reasonable wine list for price and variety. 1st class service from staff, very friendly and efficient. My fiancee and I loved it!
Peking Garden The – Stockton-On-Teesa superb meal with a none smoking area. the price was very reasonable and the service good. i can certainly recommend it. down side : could do with a coat of paint.
Highland Laddie – Darlingtonbest xmas lunch ever! looking forward to sunday lunch. happy new year
Green Tree Hotel The – CrookFood is absolutely fantastic good value for money, you get a good helping. Atmosphere within the pub is very friendly staff very courteous and polite felt like id been a regular for years, well worth a visit. Green Tree Hotel The – CrookVery Nice, Tasty. Yum =]
Pizza Roma – DurhamThe Mill House is a fantastic themed restaurant, within the Jazz and Funk era, boasting classical and local ambience. A must when your taking a lady out for a pleasant evening of cool!
Mill House – Chester-le-StreetA veggie heaven in a the Teesside veggie desert. Been going years but has improved over the last couple of years. Sadly no longer BYO and doesn't do the combo main courses but I would recommend it to any veggie or non-veggie.
Waiting Room The – Stockton-On-TeesWhen we visited the Seaton Lane Inn we were warmly greeted by the owner Adrian Marshall and immediately made to feel we were the most welcome of his guests. We chose a meal from the day's special which was monkfish in a ginger/oyster sauce; monkfish being one of our favourite dishes. The meal was excellent and was served with a delicious array of freshly cooked vegetables. It was as good. if not better, as any meal we'd had which includes starred restaurants. Stop here if you want a delightful culinary experience.
Seaton Lane Inn – Seahambistro 21 has very friendly staff and the food is outstanding the service is good although it was a bit pricey but I suppose if you want quality food you have to pay for it! I highly recommend this restaurant and its very good for formal parties.
Bistro 21 – DurhamThis is a very cosy and friendly place. The chef makes outstanding food (the parsnips are my favourite.) and there is always enough to make you feel full but not uncomfortable. With two real fires this is a great place to snuggle up in the winter with a pint of your favourite beer. Brilliant.
The Black Horse Beamish – StanleyWe have eaten here on numerous occasions. It remains one of our firm favourites. Excellent food, wine list and great ambience. Highly recommended
Seaham Hall Hotel – SeahamIt was a lovely calm atmosphere and the food tasted amazing too they also do a mean Sunday roast. They treat the customers nicely and the waitresses are really polite. I recommend this restaurant to any one!
