i went to Harry's based on the recommendations i read here. The food was good, but not quite as outstanding as was mentioned by a previous reviewer. Service was a tad slow, but i do recommend this to people who havent been before.

It is always a pleasure to eat in Harrys. It is by far my favourite in East Devon. I travel 17 miles twice a month to eat there and it is worth every mile. The staff are fantastic, the food and wine as good, ambience and surroundings always fun, and most of all, excellent value for money.

Since Bar Venezia has been re-opened as a Mediterranean Restaurant, I can't stop myself from going and sampling dishes from Spain, France, Portugal, Greece and Italy. Wow...

I have been to Starz twice now; most recent was for a Hen Party. I have to say, they were fantastic. Food was amazing everyone was so friendly making sure you have everything you need, they are really good with large groups of people too. I will definitely re visit as often as I can. But Book in advance, they do get very busy. Thanks Starz

I've been to Starz many times and have always been impressed by the waiting staff and good the food is. Although trying to book there now is a nightmare it? so busy every night of the week!!!!!! But just recently the staff seemed too have the lost the smile off there face and don't seemed to enjoy it as much. I and my family were served by Lynsey last time I was there and she was fantastic, always smiling and added to our night. I did miss the restaurant manger I think he was called Stuart always had a smile on his face and the waiting staff seemed to buzz of him, plus he was really good to my little sister when she went there for her 22nd birthday.

Very enjoyable and relaxing. The place was nicely set out, you had to order your food and drinks at the bar, but it was worth it.

This place quite possible does the best carvery in Exeter at the lowest price. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the food is fantastic and very cheap. Well worth a visit, I guarantee you'll be back.

Beautiful family run restaurant ideal for that special occasion. Food cooked to perfection and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. Take your time (you will not be rushed) to savour the delights of this little gem

We chose to go to The Digger's Rest purely spontaneously as it was close to home and we fancied a pub meal. We were very mistaken the food well exceeds a 'pub lunch'. It has become now one of our favourite restaurants. Friendly staff, great food, a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all at a very reasonable price what more could you ask for!?

Really tasty food, the mixed grill was excellent. Staff always friendly. I felt they went a bit overboard on some of the decor (almost verging on tacky) on what is overall a really cosy and relaxed restaurant (especially downstairs). I'd go there far more often but their drinks, particularly the beer, are so expensive.

We get takeaways from here at least once a week but occasionally eat in. The vegetable side dishes are our favourites, and the chicken tikka rogon is very tasty.

Now under new owners and what was a good establishment is now very good. The standard of food and service has improved and I feel that this might be due to the fact that the staff are enjoying life better under the new owners. I await with baited breath to see if they might turn the cellar into a wonderful wine bar using some of Rogers expertise.

Go and try the Pizza now! Go on; get up from your seat and go! This is the perfect place for group bookings! Pizza dominates the menu, but that? all you need really! Wonderful atmosphere for a kid? party right up to a works leaving do! Can't go wrong!

We went for a meal at the Thai Orchid recently and were very impressed. The food was well presented with a huge choice of authentic dishes etc. The restaurant itself is authentically decorated and has a very pleasant ambience. We enjoyed our meal and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone.
