Went for lunch - very good service and freshly made food (of very generous portion size), however the wine wasn't very well chilled and the drinks menu was taken away as soon as we'd ordered precluding further investigation. Or, indeed, using it to stop the table wobbling.

Castaways Wine and Tapas Bar – FalmouthI ordered a steak meal which was cooked to perfection. The dessert of a white chocolate fondue with various fruits to dip was quite possibly the best dessert I've ever had in a restaurant and I would go back if only for that.
Warehouse Bistro – FalmouthThis restaurant is tucked away down a side street, but it is well worth visiting. Kerry is very friendly and will make your dining experience most enjoyable. The food was perfectly cooked, vegetables were crisp and the meat was cooked to my requirements. this restaurant also catered for the vegetarian and the vegan diner. Go there you will not be disappointed.

The Cove – FalmouthI have visited Giuseppes at Mawnan Smith many times over the last 15 years. The welcome is always very friendly as one would expect from an Iskian Italian with a charming Cornish wife. The food is always very good - fresh local ingredients, good fish and splendid meats cooked quickly to order. Good wines too with a very large choice of Italian wines. Highly recommend a visit.
