I don't eat fish but I had the most heavenly portion of chips from here yesterday. Perfect Lancashire/Blackpool chips in my opinion.

Eating Plaice – FleetwoodOur first visit to Fleetwood and arrived on midday looked around at eating places and decided on Cafe Royal. Wow! what an experience------we decided on a light lunch of caramelized onion
The Cafe Royal – FleetwoodWe've been coming to this superb fish n chip shop for a couple of years now and to be honest there isn't anyone who does a bigger battered fish than this chippy for miles around. We do an eighty mile trip all round just to get our favourite tea!! Says it all really!!! :)
Eating Plaice – FleetwoodI visit regularly it is certainly the best chippy in Fleetwood for quality food service and price.Although only a small restaurant if visiting Fleetwood I would strongly advise a visit just off the main street.Derek
Dolphin Chippy – FleetwoodI took my Mum to this cafe located in the centre of Freeport and was extremely disappointed I did. I bit into my toastie and found the cheese still cold and uncooked in the middle so asked for it to be reheated (no offer was made to replace it). The staff were polite and helpful, however lots of chatting went on between staff and dirty tables were left dirty throughout the whole time of our visit (about an hour!). We saw a number of diners move because after sitting down they noticed the dirty tables. There is also no toilet for cafe guests, only staff, so it is quite a hike back to the Freeport entrance to use the facilities there. Finally, we were disappointed we weren't asked if everything was ok when we paid the bill as that would have been an ideal opportunity to raise these points. In summary, we won't be going back. There are much nicer, fresher smelling places nearby.
Food Court – FleetwoodJohn and I visited 03/03/13. John had the Sunday roast and I had the hot pot which was freshly prepared. Quality,Quantity and price was excellent. The sweet was a real treat - The Big One a selection of ice creams cream etc. May be the price of two sweets but well worth it to share. Would highly reccommend all to visit. A walk along the promanade just off the town centre and a meal at the Mount Public House is the reward. We shall be re visiting again in the near future. Derek.
Mount Pub – FleetwoodExquisite absolutely fabulous.
Strawberry Gardens – FleetwoodWent to Gerkha Legends last night. Some of our group struggled to find the place and I wondered where I was taking the others, impression was that it could have done with doing up (minor point). Food and service however was great. We had the £10 all you could eat buffet meal that includerd popadoms & dips, followed by a starter consisting of 3 different things, I enjoyed the potatoe one, (sorry can't remember the names) served at the table while they cooked the mains Choice of 3 veggie dishes and 3 meat dishes, 2 lamb and 1 chicken, fried & plain rice & nam bread, and a lovely yogurt pud to finish. The food was lovley tried a bit of everything and was stuffed by the time I had finished. Can recommend one particular lamb dish, that wasn't too spicy and it melted in your mouth. Unfortunately can't remember that name either. Worth going just for that dish and the yogurt. Intend to try the take away at some point. All I can say is it's worth going.
Gurkha Legends – Fleetwoodfantastic place for me...delicious food and drinks:)))
The Dolphin Cafe – FleetwoodCalled in for a bag of chips, £1.55 for a small bag the chips were uneatable threw the lot in the bin. Cold dry must have been reheated a lot of times. Will never go in this shop again.
Pisces Fish and Chips – FleetwoodJust returned from an early evening meal with my wife and little boy, and I have to say we were incredibly impressed. There was a nice, friendly welcome and we felt very relaxed. As this was our first time eating at a Gurkha restaurant the dishes and the ideas behind Nepalese cuisine where explained and we felt confident ordering. The starters tasted absolutely wonderful. I had Momo (dumplings) and my wife had the chilli panneer. Both were just the right size and set us up for the main course. On ordering the main course we were given some helpful advice as we both ordered the same dish. We changed it to the recommended favourite and were glad that we did. The original chicken dish we selected was nice, but the lamb dish we ordered on advice was absolutely delicious. Our little boy had a starter fish dish brought as a main course, which he judged "lovely". All in all this was a wonderful visit, and one we intend to repeat. The food was great (I can highly recommend Nepalese food from this), the portion sizes just right, the value phenomenal and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The little one was made to feel right at home. A must visit for everyone on the Fylde who likes good food.
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodJust had Gurkha chicken curry, pilau rice and keema nan. It was gorgeous and you could tast the fresh ingredients used. The keema nan was the best I have ever tasted!!! Well done ;-)
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodMe and my family visited Gurkha Legends last saturday, had a lovely meal with great service from Tom. whoever doesnt go is missing out!
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodWent there last night with a Dealmonster voucher, not expecting much. Got there and was a little surprised with the location and the lack of other guests. Didn't expect much - we almost left! Boy, am I glad I didn't?! The meal was superb! The starters were freshly prepared and just as described by our knowledgeable waiter who was attentive throughout. We had our children with us and he recommended the Fish dish for them and they thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a lamb and chicken dish and they were so tasty. We had the special rice and a Peshawari naan and we could hardly finish. The flavours exploded in our mouths. I am used to eating well and this was one of the best restaurants I have eaten in for years! As I say, don't let the decor fool you! It's well worth a trip. When I get time I will go to the buffet on a Sunday - sounds an excellent deal!
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodWe visited the Gurka Legends restaurant in August 2012. The food is very tasty with subtle flavours. The manager Tommy was very attentive and knowledgable and we left the place feeling full and happy.
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodVery welcoming staff and great nepalese food.Ten out of ten for food. Six of us enjoyed a lovely evening at Gurcha Legends topped wit great service and nice wine. Highly recommended.
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodFirst time tried Nepalese food and it was delicious. Tommy was a great host in advising us what to eat and his recommendations were excellent. We used the Deal Monster voucher but happy to pay full price when we return, which we will next time we up that way!
Gurkha Legends – Fleetwood“I visited Ghurkha Legends in August. As a party of 4 we enjoyed the wide selection of Nepalese food which was well prepared & cooked. Tommy, the owner of the business, was extremely attentive & knowledgeable about the food. Although he had a Nepalese Chef he explained that he could also cook all the dishes himself which goes a long way towards interpreting the needs & wants of his customers. We consumed a considerable amount of wine & were more than pleasantly surprised to receive a bill averaging out at £25.00 per head. An excellent evening, we shall certainly return”.
