Sorrento – FormbyUndoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the North West and for sure the BEST in Formby !! Great atmosphere, superb cuisine and Luciano and the team give 110% to the detail and service - would recommend it to anyone - in sospeso - Grazie !!
Sorrento – FormbyBeen several times with family, good varied menu but the steaks are definitely outstanding, happy atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable waiters who reel off the specials with ease, reasonable priced for very good food, will be going back at first opportunity.

Zyka – FormbyI live in Barnsley and my father, a 91 years young widower, lives in Formby. When circumstances allow we visit him and take him out for a meal to the Bay Horse, he wont go anywhere else because the food is cooked to his liking and the staff are very helpful and pleasant to him.
Toby Carvery – FormbyHighly recommend this pub! Good beers, great staff and the food is beyond comparison at thie price. The pound and a penny meals are lovely, and for 30p more than it would cost for a packet of crisps.
The Hightown – FormbyWent on sunday with several family members for sunday buffet. Very pleasantly surprised, very nice selection including soups crispy duck and pancakes and a good selection of mains and desserts, Enjoyed by all and cracking value at about a tenner a head plus drinks. Very nice indeed !
Golden Bridge – FormbyPopped in last week for tea, had the lamb nga, wow certainly very hot and spicy, tickled all the right spots in this curry head together with a pint of cobra beer and some bombay potato. Lovely grub, what more could a man ask for, well done again.
Hilal Balti House – FormbyQuo Vadis is the best restaurant in Formby. The food is brilliant and plenty of choice, it's not just pizza and pasta, although the Piccante Pizza is excellent if you like chilli and pizza. I love rare steak and they do a great fillet, you can't beat it. Loads of choice with starters too, my favourite being the Calamari. I sometimes just pop in for a beer or a coffee and am made equally welcome.
Quo Vadis – FormbyMy husband and I visited the Left Bank recently - great meal, good value for money and good service but I was very upset when I discovered there was no level access toilet. I was shown to the staff toilet in a store room when I complained. Why can't they state that their restaurant is unsuitable for disabled customers? We will not be going again.
Left Bank – FormbyCame here again tonight, still splendid .. had the lamb naga, wow hot and cracking flavours with peshwarai bread, an absolute pleasure to eat here, well done all,
Shantii – FormbyWhat a lovely place, comfortable, elegant, friendly helpful staff starting with hands on Ali i the owner, easy parking and what superb food! I have been before but took no 1 son to show him. What a good meal, the menu has the usual items but many many more regional specialities from all over the sub continent ranging from a creamy almondy Capsilla to a fiery king prawn dish that impressed even my curry head palette ! Prices for these wonderful dishes are a little higher but nobodies quibbling about £30 a head for superlative food and a few beers. Well recommended, They do a Sunday buffet for a tenner and Ali told me they now have a 15% loyalty card offer. That cant be bad !!
Shantii – FormbyI am a member of a walking group, and my favourite walk is tomorrow which happens to be the walk from Seaforth to Hightown with lunch in the Hightown Hotel. It is always a friendly welcome with a good choice of real ales, including a managers special offer and a cracking menu to choose from. It is also handy for popping on the train back to Southport,
The Hightown – FormbyThis restaurant aims to please even if you don't see it on the menu he will make it for you, the staff are delightful the ambiance is to die for, The food what more can i say ! i would eat here every night if i won the lottery . The managers name is Ali you are made to feel so welcome no only of him but all the staff ( lovely place lovely people)
Shantii – FormbyWe've been going to this restaurant since it opened and every time has been a wonderful experience. The food and service is excellent. Ali is the perfect host and chef!! We'd recommend trying the Sunday buffet as it's a great opportunity to sample dishes you may not otherwise have chosen and it's also great value for money.
Shantii – FormbyI love this restaurant, the owner Lui is very welcoming, the staff attentive & the food first class. A genuine Italian, its only been open about 5 weeks & I have been 5 times already. Give it a try.
