Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamFabulous food, friendly staff. Generous portions, great value for money. Once you've been you'll want to keep going back for more.
Helter Skelter – FrodshamThis is the second best Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant in the United Kingdom, try it out to really understand the taste.
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamWell, what can I say! The service was abysmal and the food extremely bland. It was hard to tell one dish from another. Also, they have huge, square plates that just about fit on the table, so the dishes can't sit inbetween you and your dining companions opposite, so you have to try and 'dot' them round the table. The only guy 'on the ball' was the waiter dishing out the wine. I used to love this place a few years ago. If you're thinking of Indian food in this area, may I suggest the restaurant in Helsby (3 miles away).
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamI recently went there for a meal the food was terrible the staff were atrocious the was scruffy as hell not recommended.
Frodsham Tandoori – Frodshamthis is one of the best Indian restaurants i have tried in about 10 years. There food is so good and the good thing about it is not expensive. People you don't know what your missing trust me come and try the food and see for yourself.
Frodsham Tandoori – FrodshamI was really disappointed last night when me and my husband went to Amore. I rang the restaurant at 9pm sat night in order to check they would still be serving food when we got there at about 9.15. I was informed that they serve food until 10pm but we should get there a little earlier. We arrived at 9.20 and walked upto the desk and asked for a table. I was met with a very frosty reception from who I assume to be the manageress. She informed me that now was the time they stopped serving food. I informed her that I had already called and had double checked that we would be ok to sit and eat at this time. She was very rude, unhelpful and by no means professional in her manner. She shoved 2 menus at me and told us to sit at a table. We sat down only to be asked what we wanted by a waiter all of 2 minutes later. I got the feeling we were going to be rushed out of there and the service would be awful due to the time we had arrived so I gave her the menus back and we went to Oswalds where we were welcomed with open arms by very polite and helpful staff. Oswalds had every table full and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, Amore on the other hand had 1 table in when we arrived so I don't really think the manageress is in a position to turn away custom at 9.20 on a sat eve. I am totally shocked by this as I think she didn't handle it in a professional manner. Frodsham is a small place with very few restaurants to go to. Me and my husband have just moved into the area and go out for a meal about twice a month so Oswalds are going to get to know us pretty well. I had hoped that we would have a choice and be able to sample the food in Amore as it has mainly excellent reviews but I am now put off by my experience.
Amore Bar Restaurant – FrodshamI frequent this Tandoori house on a regular basis, the owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and the food and drink is top drawer. It is a very busy place, which I guess is a good sign as it means it is popular. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
