Went for Sunday lunch. Pub not too busy. Food was served quite quickly but with no cutlery or serviettes. The manager said he would bring them over with sauce. We waited ages as he obviously forgot about us . I had to go to the bar and ask for them . They were placed on the table with no apology. Will not be coming back.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. We felt the food and drinks were value for money. My only small personal criticism is the lack of a traditional draught bitter with Wainwrights Gold being the best alternative.

Helter Skelter – FrodshamWe were put in the conservatory which was noisy with kids. We are a mature couple an expected to be place somewhere a bit quieter. Food was OK. Wouldn't rush back. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.

We ordered drinks and food within 10 minutes of arriving and 10 minutes passed and still no drinks had arrived. We were told that there would be a half hour wait on food. There was a party of 30 dining and the kitchen staff clearly couldn’t keep up with the number of meals to be served. To summarise, the service was terrible as there were hardly any staff and we waited an hour for food and 25 minutes for drinks. 2 out of the 3 meals had uncooked chewy cabbage. I would not recommend dining her at the moment until this has been resolved. Such a shame as have been dining here for over 30 years and never had a problem !
