Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamBooked this as a Christmas present for a friend. The experience was excellent, lovely food and service plus a great atmosphere. Would certainly recommend this to anyone for a very pleasant afternoon.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamGreat little cafe. Wish it was nearer to where I live! Coffee was really, really good and the food was very tasty. Very relaxed atmosphere . Will be back
The Courtyard – LythamVisited the Buraq with my friend, recently arrived in the UK for a short visit so hoping to impress with a good meal and we weren't disappointed. The food was superb, the service attentive but never rushed and we enjoyed an excellent evening
Buraq – KirkhamWhen as a family we discuss where to eat out the Kingfisher is high on our list. With a good selection of healthy fresh seasonal and Lancashire traditional foods including a section our kids love like their favourite Club sandwich and burgers we like to try something different on each visit. The Pub has a nice atmosphere with well maintained facilities including a kids play area and a nice clean outdoor dog friendly dining areas with heated and lit covered areas. Inside there’s a nice bar and dining area ideal for small or large groups. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Easy to access by foot, bus or if we drive, for us we like the large car park which has disabled parking and is well lit.
The Kingfisher – Kirkham5 star!
The Kingfisher – KirkhamExcellent food as always, despite being extremely busy the service was good. The buffet food was lovely, some waiting for refilling but not surprising considering how busy it was.
Buraq – KirkhamAbsolutely amazing food and service.
Buraq – KirkhamA lovely (not inexpensive) lunch, great food and modern, warm atmosphere but..,......what a crying shame that the staff had no clue how to properly manage a justified complaint / feedback. We found a piece of metal scourer in our patatas bravas. Not great but these things happen and was undisputed. We are pretty chilled about such things but also great believers that if a problem is handled well, you can create a lot of goodwill and make customers feel well looked after if the situation is properly acknowledged. There was an offer of replacement but that was completely unnecessary and somewhat missed the point. If it were down to me I would have taken it off the bill, perhaps a drink on the house - all good......but no. Instead send the poor junior staff member to face the music, don't come and discuss with us, take £1.50 off the bill (seriously????) and once we had paid the bill, insult us by telling us we just didn't get it!!! We wouldn't have written a review like this if the situation had been handled properly but that is the current state of customer service sadly. No one gives a monkeys.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesBooked in for a birthday lunch and we were not disappointed. Had a great window seat to people watch & were made to feel very welcome. We had the monkey club stack & it was the best club sandwich we have had ! It was freshly cooked and crammed with chicken and bacon. Will definitely be back and highly recommend !
Northern Monkey Lytham – LythamWe had a gorgeous meal on Saturday evening, the food was delicious and the service and atmosphere fantastic, we will be returning very soon . Thank you
Buraq – KirkhamGreat pizzas, loads of choice and very reasonably priced too!
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolMaybe not quite as good as usual. Pizza slightly soggy in middle which I have never had before also toppings were a little sparse
Stefani’s Pizzeria – BlackpoolWe booked our annual meal at The Royal Oak, something we’ve done for the last three years. It was easy to organise the booking. On the night the room was warm and welcoming as were the staff who served our meal. The meal was lovely, the shoulder of lamb was tender and delicious, the peppercorn sauce on the chicken was tasty and the salmon was moist, the plates were hot and all the food arrived at the same time. Everyone was very happy with their meal, the portions were generous and several of us were unable to finish the sticky toffee pudding deserts which was a shame! Thank you to all the staff involved who made our meal so enjoyable.
Royal Oak Hotel – GarstangThank you for a lovely afternoon tea, me and my son throughly enjoyed it. Simon looked after us ensuring we always had drinks and kept asking if everything was ok. The food was excellent especially the variety of delicious desserts. Absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend. Thanks again we will be back. Jane
