Great pub, great food and a lovely landlord!
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamAwesome food with magic views of the Irish sea in the heart of Blackpool. a big party of us dined and all loved their food! T bone steaks amazing value as was the mixed grill.
Excellent meal at Italio for a leaving do for around 8 people. Service was very efficient and the food was gorgeous. The ribs and Stroganoff were top notch. Lovely venue in South Shore Blackpool. We will return.
Italio – Blackpool"Excellent food," "friendly staff," feedback on the Fylde Country Life annual dinner in November has been nothing but positive. The Tractor Shed managed a large number of people, almost 70, superbly, and all who have commented have spoken highly both of the food and the efforts of the staff. A wonderful evening, mostly down to the splendid hospitality. Thank you.
The Tractor Shed at Farmer Parrs – FleetwoodI’m still not sure I am old enough to go to The Clifton Arms, but having been invited to join friends for Sunday lunch I thought it was a good opportunity to try it. Food great, service lovely and 3 course lunch menu amazingly good value and delivered as promised with nothing disappointing. Not very often I eat every last bit on my plate!
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamWhilst out for a drive on Sunday with my wife Gill & her Mum we drove past the New Holly at Forton and noticed a sign saying “Under New Management “ so on the off chance we decided to turn around and go back there for our Sunday Lunch. We were warmly welcomed by our waiter who showed us to our table , we ordered drinks whilst reading the Menu and after choosing three different meals relaxed and enjoyed the ambiance. Shortly after our food was served and all three of us were delighted with the quality and taste of our Dinners and with all meals being different and I can safely state that we WILL be returning in the very near future to enjoy more quality food . 100% Recommendation and add it’s well worth a Visit
Casanova’s @ The New Holly – GarstangI had only been in for a drink before at night. This time we ate in the daytime for a long lunch. I must say we were all very impressed. The design of the place is fantastic, what you would expect in a cosmopolitan city not a Lancashire coastal town. We sat in the conservatory area which is great to watch the world go by. I had the cheese and ale soup followed by the beef cheek suet pudding, both excellent. My friend had the Deacon platter for her main meal which was also top notch. Presentation of all dishes matched the style of the venue. The place I would now recommend in Lytham
The Deacon – LythamExcellent Hake on a bed of risotto and crushed peas last night. A very pleasant bottle of Rioja too. friendly attentive service.
Queens Hotel – LythamAll three of us really enjoyed our food. I had the avocado to start and the risotto to follow. Both excellent.
Bosco – LythamAn understated yet quietly confident, intimate, warm and cosy restaurant with attentive staff who greet you with a smile. In short - a true St Anne's gem. If you haven't been yet I urge you to try it. We had the sizzling mixed meat platter for two (steak, lamb chops, meatballs and chicken souvlaki) accompanied by Greek salad and the most beautiful fresh flat breads. The tzatziki was absolutely spot on also. Make no mistake - this is the real deal and a much needed alternative to the ever familiar suite of local Italian and Indian restaurants. A great option for those who fancy a tasty change or seasoned lovers of authentic Greek cuisine alike. We will definitely be returning soon...
Greek Flame Taverna – St. Annes-On-SeaThe place for a more formal special occasion.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamGreat new beer garden. Always the best pub in Lytham for music and bands. Food is good too! big old spacious pub with heritage features
Station Pub and Grill – LythamBest pub in Lancashire!
The Taps – LythamMy choice for an Indian in Lytham. Ahad always looks after us!
Red Fort – LythamI enjoyed my experience so much at the Quirky Tearooms I have booked to go again tomorrow with my grandson. Very attentive staff and the food was very tasty.
Quirky Tea Room – St. Annes-On-SeaWe visited as a family group of 10 adults (4 of whom are Greek)& children Saturday evening & thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome & service was good & the food excellent...it was a little slower than some places but everything was served hot & freshly cooked Don’t be put off by the outside...it doesn’t do it justice, definitely recommend & will visit again
Go Greek – Blackpool5 stars Came here on recommendation for lunch. On arrival the service was exemplar, the settings of the restaurant with the open kitchen is a nice touch, and decor is lovely with a few little quirks here and there including serving complimentry popcorn with your drinks. The food was excellent, and the menu has a nice varied choice of dishes, my bofriend ordered a burger with pulled pork and brisket and I ordered the slow cooked brisket Sunday lunch from the set menu which i would definitely recommend, followed by a waffle loaded with fruit, ice cream, cream and maple syrup, my boyfriend had to help me eat it as it was so big. In all a very pleasurable dining experience We will be definitely be coming back
Ember and Vine – St AnnesTing Tongs is a fantastic little place that offers amazing fresh Thai food at a reasonable price. The food arrived quickly, the service was great, and to top it off you are allowed to bring your own drinks. Furthermore, the fact that there is only one lady manning the kitchen makes it even more impressive. Would highly recommend if you are a lover of Thai.
