Ambrosinis – BlackpoolWe had lunch here yesterday. Superb food, cooking and service. This is a warm friendly hostelry and comfortable in every department. As for the food. Quite, no, utterly delicious. Suet pudding is a rare dish on menus, but with oxtail inside it was sublime. Real food! I agree that the number of diners on a windy Tuesday spoke well for the popularity of the Inn. A strong recommendation that you visit.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonLovely pudding chips and peas today. I will go again and recommend to others!
Whelans – LythamHad my Birthday meal there with my brother and his partner. The food was excellent, There were only compliments form all three of us from start to finish. Friendly service too. I will definitely be going again. I didn't stay in the hotel as I live locally.
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeI visited Montagues last weekend. I love it there! The staff are so friendly, the decor is slick and on point, the menu bob on and the atmosphere is buzzing. It's well worth a visit. This is a great addition to Highfield road!
Montagues – BlackpoolLove it and perfect starter "Sun dried tomatoes and cheese" and hot chocolate with cream. I will come back again. I recommend it to my friends and families.
The Waters Edge Pub and Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaBest Chinese by a million percent, all my life since a kid it's been the best and always will be in my opinion the best ever. Try it for your self you will see. Rocco
Dragon Inn Chinese – Thornton-CleveleysVisited the pub for a meal on my daughters birthday. Pub looks really nice inside and out, the food and service was brilliant. We (all 3) of us really enjoyed all ourfood and wewould def visit again, as my daughter attends Myerscough College and we are from the Tameside area (1 hour) away, so its great to know where we can go for good food, good service and very good cost.
Boars Head Country Pub – GarstangLovely meal here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. For me, one of the most interesting and innovative menus in the area right now. Classy wine list too with very reasonable mark-ups. Very busy on a wild November midweek night and for a place that’s well off the beaten track that says it all.
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonWell Blackpool has a new chain restaurant, Las Iguanas where Burger King used to be. It is a professional set up and part of a 52 venue group. South American style food which was very nice. Enjoyed my croquettas and spicy chicken (Blazing Bird) and my partner made the right noises about her black bean bolinhos and her crayfish Brazilian curry (XinXim). Did not enjoy the corn on the cob smothered in mayo and cheese, leave it alone. service was efficient and friendly and the CAIPIRINHA cocktails were ace!
Las Iguanas – BlackpoolThe Burritos need to be spicier!
Tijuana Mexican Kitchen – LythamExcellent meal for 4 on Friday night at The Red Fort. All of us were very satisfied and would recommend to others!
Red Fort – LythamGreat spot for a late night curry after a few beers.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamGreat lunch at Twelve. Best food on the Fylde coast arguably. A very professional set up and award winning cuisine!
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysBest pub in the Fylde!
The Taps – LythamGreat park and lovely little café. Leek and potato soup with a cheese toastie yum.
Park View 4U Cafe – LythamExcellent meal for 2 late on Friday night. Very much enjoyed our excellent curries.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamThe best restaurant I have ever been to. Used to go regularly but unfortunately have moved off the island, miss it so much. Food really good service even better good luck xx
