sloppy food, too much on the plate. Grim brash surroundings but it's busy so must be pleasing some people just not me.

Dahlia’s Kitchen – BlackpoolI meant to write a review in April when four of us dined in the evening. The food was delicious and the wine very good.Charlotte was very attentive as was her partner Lindan. Even though we ate very early in the evening I could tell that with more diners there would have been a very nice atmosphere. The value for money was superb and we will certainly be returning!
Norma Jean’s Bar & Brasserie – BlackpoolNew owners and the place is still good. we both had the burgers that were spot on. will return
Queens Hotel – LythamLove this new Italian in Lytham. Authentic quality food in a cool little space where the Chattery café was. Have heard great reports from everyone else I know who has been too.
Farina 2.0 – LythamI was invited to the opening night. Really like this place. Nice people that own and run it and the food was gorgeous from the Neapolitan chefs. Looking forward to going again soon!
Farina 2.0 – LythamThis newish Spanish restaurant is in the centre of Blackpool on the site of what was once Toast. Good to have some more choice in town and we visited on the strength of a previous visit to their sister restaurant in Poulton. We enjoyed the food but the atmosphere was a bit lacking as not many other diners when we visited. Staff sitting around at a table near the bar didn’t help and their faces dropped when a large party walked in as we were leaving. I think the boss was away that night.
Espanol Toro – BlackpoolGreat place to eat. Always have a great meal. Service always good and can't you can't the prices. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't eaten there already.. Owner and staff are very good people
Alleyway Cafe – Poulton-Le-FyldeExtremely overpriced. We visited yesterday and paid £11.60 for 2 average coffees, a slice of cake and a scone! Needless to say we won't be going there again
Fancy That – LythamJust called in to this shop as it's been here a while thought the people might be able to make a decent sandwich. I ordered a club on toast, easy enough you would think but no the woman decided to try and do me a club with 3 ends of bread! Thanks but no thanks my jaw bone isn't up to it. Walked out, can't seem to find a decent butty shop that knows how to make a sandwich poor do!
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolA great café in Lytham,. love sitting in their huge windows overlooking the street. Food always good and the place busy that tells its own story. Lots of competition these days but it looks like its doing as well as ever.
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamI have watched the NEW Stone Grill being transformed into somthing lovely. I dont even have to go to visit to know everything is of top quality and goodness. Congratulations to Wayne and the team of dedicated staff on this achievement. Jan and Alan Nightingale
The Stone Grill – BisphamHave finally reached the conclusion (after years of investigation!) that Whelans in Lytham does the best fish and chips in the area.
Whelans – LythamWe were in the Tithe Barn on Saturday and came back on Tuesday for a meal. Didn't realise it was quiz night. Not really our thing. Had a super meal. Great service. Chilled atmosphere. We only saw 2 members of staff all night. The girl on the food and a lady serving at the bar. We didn't compete in the quiz but wish we had it was a great night. Best laugh we have had in a long time. Everyone joined in and supported Shannon (I think her name was) it was her first time at presenting the quiz. Her and the other lady on the bar were a great double act. Everyone had a great night. She should be resident quiz mistress. We are still laughing. Thank you girls. Wish we could give you 10/10
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangPleasant family meal on a Monday night. All chose from the set menu which was good. The only problem was that 2 of the 5 mains had sold out. My boys pizza was very good too. A nice wine to wash t down with an the price was reasonable too. Its a good looking space and lovely in the sunshine
Spago Lytham – LythamA very popular café/restaurant in a garden centre. It also has a farm shop as part of t. Nice food and friendly service!
Dahlia’s Kitchen – BlackpoolWas here last week om the last day it closed before a move over the road to the old bank building. I usually have steak which is good but went for the cod with mussels and new potatoes which was FAB-U-LOUS darlings.
Henry’s – LythamVisited the Cartford last Friday for a wine tasting and my first time in their new function room, The River House. Wow – what a place for a private party. A really appealing rustic feel to it.
