There were 20 of us friends having afternoon tea together and everything was superb! We all said how attentive the servers were, nothing was too much trouble and we had constant refills of tea and coffee. The food was lovely and the tables were set out beautifully for us. Everyone loved it! The only reason I have marked down the food is because I preferred the sandwich choices we had previously when I last visited.

Thyme – PoultonMy wife and I booked afternoon tea while we were visiting St Annes for the week. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from SImon who proved to be an excellent host and the service was first class The staff were very attentive without being intrusive, something I've found difficult to achieve but Simon and his team have done it. The food was excellent with a lot of variety and unlimited cups of tea. I will definitely be booking another visit when we're in the area again and have already recommended it to several of our travelling companions.

Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaIt was Saturday lunchtime, just a nice amount of people eating there. After a slightly disappointing visit last time, the food was back to the previous standard. Good quality ingredients, well cooked, excellent flavours. Good portion sizes for the money. The croquettes had proper shredded chicken in them, the meatballs were good solid minced beef and the prawns tasted fresh. The meatball sauce was rich and tomatoey. Really impressed with the food. If there was any room for improvement, I’d say the service can be a bit slow at times. In the summer, the outside area is lovely to sit in.

Royal Oak Hotel – GarstangArrived 15 minutes early but was greeted warmly by Andrew and shown to my seat to wait for my friend ! I had booked it for her special birthday! The service and food was excellent and the food explained to us ! Had a lovely glass of Prosecco and copious cups of tea & coffee ! All the while in the lovely surroundings of lytham hall ! Would definitely recommend and come again!

For a smokehouse the menu seemed a little bit burger top heavy, not many steaks on offer, ribs full rack or half , a chicken and salmon dish, brisket dish and a few hot dogs " dogs" that's basically it..apart from the 7 burger choices, the starters also seemed to have very little options choices. However food was well cooked and tasted nice. Due to the drop in outside temperature, the restaurant seemed cold inside and we kept our coats on to eat. Will I go back unfortunately no, it's expensive and a bit of a let down after reading positive reviews.
