Knott End Cafe – Knott End-On-SeaWe go to this restaurant every time when we like to eat Chinese. The food is very nice, is no MSG and the staff are friendly. fully recommend this place.
Four Seasons – BlackpoolPortofino looked after our party of 20 excellently. We were seated upstairs, as is our prefernce, and enjoyed very good food and service. The Italian waiter with the green glasses was particularly fun and efficient. We choose some good wines at reasonable prices. Also there was no problem that we seemed to be the last group seated upstairs. Highly recommended.
Portofino – LythamStayed here for a week recently and tried the room service a few times. The food was always quick and well presented, lovely hot pizzas made fresh, the meat feast is very high quality! Would return just for a pizza!!
Dalmeny Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaFantastic meal, great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing prices. Thank you for a wonderful meal and being made so welcome .
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamWe dined at this restaurant on Friday evening having seen that they have been awarded a second AA rosette on Sugarvine. It was a special occasion, a wedding anniversary, and so four of us had a lovely meal. The food was of a high standard, although the portions were rather small. They were big enough for us but the larger appetite may be left wanting here. Fine dining it was though with crisp white table cloths and impeccable service all evening. We would definitely return but probably more of a special occasion venue. Very good.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamStopped in here for a bite of lunch. We both had a burger and can report it was excellent. We were even offered 20 off the price, ok then, thanks!! A very well kept pint of Pendle Witch's Brew washed it down. Good quality, great value. Give it a try if you haven't since the refurb.
County Hotel – LythamTook the family last night to this local Indian restaurant. It was the first time my 10 yr old and 7 yr old daughters had been to an Indian and the waiters were very good, explaining which dishes they might enjoy. It was early when we arrived and we were the only people in but it did start to fill up during the evening. My wife enjoyed the Rogan Josh and I had a house specialty dish, Lamb Handi, which was very tasty indeed. The freshness was obvious and all the dishes were of a good portion size. All in all a very good experience, more locals should give this place a chance. Maybe if you could find this place online it might help them gain more custom, I couldn't find their menus anywhere. I would recommend trying though.
Imli – St. Annes-On-SeaI have to say, the chips from here are to die for, the Fish! well the size say's it all, and cooked to your liking in a lovely crispy batter. The Girls, and Ron & Dave do a fantastic job and will always have a bit of banter with you while you wait. All in all a very fine chippy in deed!!!
Eating Plaice – FleetwoodThe County is looking good again. Didn't like it as a carvery. It now has a pizza oven and other options. spent a good afternoon there on Sunday. Pizzas all round and a fair few Lytham real ales were sunk too. Good seating area at the back of the pub with screens.
County Hotel – LythamWe used to go for a meal at the County every time we were in Lytham. But last time since the refurb, all we could order was pizzas which we do not like so will not be going again unless the menu changes.
County Hotel – LythamI love this place. The Tikka Masala is beautiful and creamy. The kebabs are the best by far I have ever tasted from anywhere. On a bad note I have had the tom tits after every kebab from here. But to be honest it doesn't put me off. It's worth it ha.
Curry Time – BlackpoolFantastic night we were a party of 13 no complaints from anyone, Brill service.
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysWent last Saturday for a colleagues retiring do!! Absolutely AMAZING food. Had set menu for 7 and 1 of us had separate meal all delicious freshly prepared and fab value for amount you get. All in all a fantastic evening, great ambience and friendly attentive staff. Shall defo be returning. Also got to take home the more than enough remains. Good times Sent from my iPad
Mews Thai – Poulton-Le-FyldeTook my 70-something-year-old mum for her first Indian and where better than Buraq? She was mightily impressed with both the decor and the staff just as we always are. Started her off with a chicken korma and a mango lassi – will leave the vindaloo until her next visit! Try and get a booth if you can.
Buraq – KirkhamNot been to Greens for quite some time as we now live on the other side of the Fylde but pleased to report it’s as good as ever. I still think they turn out some of the best food around with a lightness of touch that seems to be lacking elsewhere. I had a crayfish risotto followed by a wonderfully cooked piece of cod accompanied by a nice bottle of Chablis. If you’re a couple, ask for an alcove table as these really make for an intimate meal out.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-SeaWe paid our first visit to this local eatery last week having heard very good reviews. The service was very good, as expected in a 5 table restaurant, and the food was excellent, freshly prepared ingredients made to order. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Ambrosinis – BlackpoolWe tried this Chinese for the first time last night, and had it delivered. We will definitely be back! Absolutely gorgeous food, very tasty.Best Chinese around here by far, in my opinion.
