Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – BlackpoolThe ambiance of this establishment is intoxicating and the management have managed to preserve that magical atmosphere for all the years I have been dinning here. The quality of the staff and food is superb and never deviates in its excellence. Ian Feltell.
Owd Nell’s Tavern – GarstangAnother great meal - the food is just so tasty and flavourful without being at all overpowering. The chef has a great touch. The food was always top notch here but the surroundings let it down. Now that they have extended and created a proper modern I would say this is the best Thai restairant on the Fylde Coast, bar none.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe went last night for Valentine's day. We both had excellent meals, great service and a delicious Barolo!! The menu was great value too. Started with a glass of Prosecco, very nice, and tiger prawn linguine which was very tasty. My wife had bresaola and thoroughly enjoyed that too. We both had steak for main course which was perfectly cooked and of a very high quality. We always love it at Tiggis but last night was truly one of the best meals we have had out in a very long time. It seems to be getting better and better!!
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaSince when was the best also the cheapest. These 2 guys have undoubtedly created the best dining experience on the Fylde, with their friendly and relaxed atmosphere, top quality food, be it a snack or a full meal, served with a smile from very attentive staff and to top it al the amazingly low bill at the end. Got to be the all round best dining experience anywhere. Dave and Vicky. Vogue nightclub
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaI went for lunch here on the Sunday gone and was very disappointed! The room was cold and the Sunday lunch was a carvery which it didn't specify on website! Wouldn't of minded but veg was raw gravy cold and the beef was dry and also didn't get the coffee which was included or sparkling wine as they said it was at their discretion if they served u the offer which was stated on website! Overall was a waste of time and money and will not be returning!
Imperial Hotel – BlackpoolI ate here with my Mum and Husband, I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The service was fantastic and our waiter even recommended a dish for my Mum that turned out to be perfect choice for her. We have eaten in lots of Indian restaurants all over the UK and this was as good as our all time favourite in Birmingham. The only small criticism I would make is that I would prefer the food to be served in proper metal balti dishes. If I'm ever back in St. Annes I will definitely return.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaCannot praise Tiggis highly enough, always accommodating, Romano is the man! staff superb most of all the food is superb.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaAte there tonight on a deal monster deal... my husband's steam was the best he had had in a very long time. Both starters were lovely, the chicken in my main meal ok. Very friendly people. Downside is the toilet area. The window as you go through on the left is absolutely disgusting, full of cobwebs, mildew and dust. As were the toilets themselves. You seriously need a cleaner Golden Ball.
Golden Ball Hotel, The – Poulton-Le-FyldeVery poor customer service girl on phone very rude food took over an hour to come and was really cold had to put in microwave i rang the shop 3 times to be told driver had set of half an hour ago and the girl on phone to tell me there are no managers to talk to and its not her fault it took so long she does'nt plan the drivers route should have bought a microwave meal as thats what i ended up with
Wok Wow – BlackpoolWent to this Thai restaurant last weekend. We'd read the great reviews on here so decided to take a couple of friends there with is. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant itself is rather like somebody's front room and a bit dated but coupled with the front of house waiter, this just added to the charm. The food was lovely. My husband is vegetarian and a fresh tofu red curry was made for him, we all opted for various curries, all of which were delicious! I'd highly recommend the restaurant.
Orathai Restaurant – Kirkham6 feb 2013 just got fish and chips £4 got home opened them very very greasy so bypass my tummy and put them straight in the bin i thought i would give them a try never again
New Norbreck Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysVisited on Saturday evening. The experience was very poor. The meal took two hours from start to finish. My wife ordered saag paneer and was given melted cheddar on spinach. They tried to pretend that's what it was supposed to be. The main course was average at best. We also had to suffer the cold blasts of wind from the slow closing door. Won't be going again, ever.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaOrdered from here tonight and it was fowl, tasteless and swimming with grease! I ordered 1 king prawn masala, 1 chicken tikka masala, garlic bread, chicken pakora and rice. The pakoras were soggy and swimming with grease, the masalas were tasteless, the prawns didn't taste right. Absolute load of friggin shite. I have eaten here many times and it's always been ok. Very dissapointed indeed and won't be going back.
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeJust had Wok Wow and was really disapointed after having heard really good things about it. The prawn toast were really small and the lemon in the box spoliled the flavour. The ribs were fatty and the bbq sauce was not thick and sticky. The Chow mein lacked flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was also lacking in flavour. The prawn crackers were nice. The majority of the meal has been left as it was not enjoyed and went cold very quickly. Very disappointing.
Wok Wow – BlackpoolJust been to Gennars and it was buzzin'. There were two large parties as well as several other tables of twos and fours etc. and we as a table for two, thought the service would be frantic and we'd have to wait for ages - but how wrong we could be. Considering how busy they were, the service and staff were simply great and always with a smile. We have been before and the food as ever was brilliant - for us they still have to top spot for serving a really good steak. Well done all at Gennars!
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-Fyldei retract my last statement,i have since had a conversation with the owner and been informed the head waiter made a mistake and our table is fine.so stil a cux service issue,bt nt with the owners.
Espanol – Poulton-Le-Fyldewe bkd ths restaurant over 4weeks ago for a birthday, we have people traveling frm manchester for ths and have been looking forward to it.the nite b4 we are due to go a mesage is left on our phone to say there was a mistake and they could nt seat us until 1hour 30mins later than the time we bkd. after caling bk several times and leaving several msgs for them, they stil havent botherd to ring back. as u can imagine we are extremely disappointd and angry ,and nw hav been left tryin to find a table elsewhere for a birthday celebration tonight. i have never experienced such shoddy customer service and certainly wil be telling al my friends nt to bother going there
