Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolThis hotel is the very best I have ever visited and. Fine dinning at its best, Paul the assistant manager made us so welcome. Food was the very best a steak to die for the décor was amazing. My hubby who is a fussy eater ate every thing and we are going to go every week. You can't improve on perfection thank you so much to the chef Joe little the manager . Lovely reception staff but most of all our host Paul.
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited with my Uncle Eddie on X-Mas eve. Great food, great service. A fabulous meal, best curry house ever visited.
Red Fort – LythamExcellent meal once again, pure delight in every morsel from start to finish. Nicely spiced too. no steam from ears which has ha[[ended to me in other Thias. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldePreston and Fylde coast were missing a good friendly Chinese, now I have found it - First time visit, and took family of 6 (one of which is 18mths and oldest is 17). Fantastic food, great atmosphere and the staff were wonderful. They all fussed over the kids, taking the time to make our visit more that just a meal. The look and smells of all the other dishes being brought out that we didn't order just made our mouths water and want for more. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a great night :-)
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaTook a group of 11 of us here for lunch yesterday. The food was very good and I would recommend anyone to try the steaks at this restaurant. The meat is superb, tender and well cooked. There is a good selection on the wine list, Malbec Reserva was lovely accompaniment to the steak. Will be returning soon.
Henry’s – LythamTop food with quick delivery.
Home Maid by Stella – Thornton-CleveleysWhat a gem, food fantastic, staff freindly, place absolutely spotless, can,t wait to go back, have had both a meal in the restaurant & takeaway both scrumptious well done .
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant – Poulton-Le-Fyldevisited last year excellent , oh how things have changed , should have walked out when we heard 2 tables complain , apart from the 2 tables place was empty, took 10 minutes to be seved drinks ,then 10 minutes before asked for food order, food was terrible , will not be going back.
High Cross – Poulton-Le-FyldeOrganization of tables need to better. Staff friendly . Food ok but not great . Disappointed can't open tab . Few things not available on menu . Won't be going back .
Poulton Elk JD Wetherspoons – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe went to try the Moghul last night having not been in for several years. Staff were friendly, place was clean and tidy. Beer was ok but served my daughter with flat coke from a supermarket but price bottle and tried to argue when we sent it back. That being replaced by a bottle of coke we had starters which were nice, tasty & fresh. They included samosa tasters FOC which was a nice touch. However, we were not so keen on the main courses. My main was tepid and incredibly gloopy largely due to being served in a cold dish. My other half's was fresher and much hotter but my daughter had Shashlik which like mine was served on a cold plate. We ate off the banquet which had the mains been ok would have been great value. Overall bit disappointed by basic errors. We normally eat at a nearby award winning Indian and I suspect we will be returning there next time.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWent for a hung over feed saturday lunchtime. Had a very good "ultimate burger", hit the spot. Love the refurb this pub has had. I remember it being quite tired, old and at times just dirty. Now it's modern, lively and clean with great choice of foods - lots of people were enjoying pizzas freshly cooked - and well stocked bar. There are more tvs too, all the better for football watching!
County Hotel – LythamWould not recommend this place. Me and my partner don't normally complain quite easily pleased but the service and food here awful.
Italian Star – BlackpoolThe hotel is looking very good after its refurb. A perfect place for a more formal meal/celebration. The lounge is a great area to relax pre/post meal. The best views in Lytham too!
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamWe visited for the first time last night, was supposed to be 3 of us but ended up just two, that was no problem. It was very busy with a couple of large(ish) tables having Christmas parties so a good lively atmosphere. Love the fact we could bring a bottle of red (or 2) ourselves without being charged extra for the privilege. We shared nachos to start which were covered with very tasty, spicy chilli and followed with excellent pizzas each. The food was very good and excellent value for money, about £20 all in! This isn't a posh restaurant but the food is very good and great value. Worth a mid week try.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaA very good restaurant, where you can eat and drink on high quality and price. Greetings from the Netherlands (Zandvoort)Mieke.
Shovels Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeAte here again last night, new menu is excellent, the anti-pasto sharing starter was fantastic, pizzas are always of the highest quality!! Definitely our favourite local Italian.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaWent for lunch recently and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was a bit of a scramble to get a table but it was a saturday lunchtime, around 1pm. Once we were sat and ordered the food came quite quickly and was delicious! We had the peri peri chicken on salad with fries and a bacon and brie sandwich, both were demolished and enjoyed thoroughly!!
