“I visited Ghurkha Legends in August. As a party of 4 we enjoyed the wide selection of Nepalese food which was well prepared & cooked. Tommy, the owner of the business, was extremely attentive & knowledgeable about the food. Although he had a Nepalese Chef he explained that he could also cook all the dishes himself which goes a long way towards interpreting the needs & wants of his customers. We consumed a considerable amount of wine & were more than pleasantly surprised to receive a bill averaging out at £25.00 per head. An excellent evening, we shall certainly return”.

Had takeaway from here, absolutely disgusting, far too salty. Avoid, better places around.

This restaurant has superb food

4 of us stayed the week end 7th-10th sept it is the nicest little hotel with great selection of food for breakfast. rooms immaculate towels changed daily owners lorna and john are two of the most pleasant people you could meet nothing too much bother a real personal touch. we had standard double rooms with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable rooms are beautifully decorated tv, coffee/tea making facilities hair dryer ,iron if needed ask at reception. the hotel is near the beach,trams and bus stops, I would highly recommend this little hotel.

One of the Fylde's finest chippies. Enjoyed an excellent lunchtime haddock and chips. Chips were perfect as you would hope from a chippie, however many other shops cannot even get that bit right, either too soggy or too hard. Will return.

Absolutely top notch food, cooked to perfection and served in a lovely restaurant. Service with a smile and a great choice of dishes so something for everyone. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing too much trouble. The meat was so tender, and the flavours in all the dishes we tried was amazing. Will definately be back and in the very near future. Best Fish & Chips in the whole area ,travelled down from Blackpool whilst on a day out . Well worth the trip ,Everything served is from fresh ,Not frozen as in nearly every chippie nowadays and it shows in the taste and the flavor ,highly recommended.

Perfect vegaterian breakfast (large) enjoed at Java with friends on a beautiful staurday morning (8th Sept 12) sitting outside in the sun. Being a big Man utd fan it was even better when Ryan Giggs sat down to eat on the table next to me and my friends. Java is a great place to eat and the food was scrumptious.

In all honesty, the duck was a little dry which disappointed me a litte (with me being ducklover123 and everything hehe). However, the BBQ spare ribs were cooked to absolute perfection; literally fell off the bone. Congratulations East Ocean!

absolutely fantastic takeaway! they never fail to balance the flavours out wonderfully, the sauces are divine anyone who thinks any different obviously doesnt have a well sophisticated palette.

Delightfully fresh restaurant. Went for lunch mid week so it was quiet. The staff are very efficient and very charming with good sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. We did order too much as we hadn't reckoned on the home made bread which was irresistible, whitebait starter was best Ive tasted as was the calamari. Everthing fresh, spicy and beautifully served. We shall be returning. Well done

visited the gurkha this evening. it was our second visit in the last two weeks., and on both visits the food and service have been excellent.The menu offers either nepalese, or indian cuisine and we have sampled both on our visits and the food was extremely tasty and well presented.Also the wine and beer prices were very reasonable.We used a special offer voucher from deal monster on our visits which saved us a few pounds, but i can say we would happily pay the standard prices for the food on offer.Will use again thanks Ian, michelle, and sian.

Great meal last night with my husband. Service very professional and impressed they spotted an overcharge on the bill before I did and removed it. Food very tasty and full of flavour filled herbs and spices. The food is oily but they use ghee which is far better than oil most Indian restaurants use. Apparently its because this restaurant is Pakistani owned not Bangladeshi like most others in UK. Best in Fylde I would say.

Visited this restaurant two times over the past month and on both occasions the food and service was excellent. The staff are relaxed and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Bit late in posting this review (only just found the website). We ate here during our annual meeting. The food service and atmostphere was fantastic. There was 13 in total and the timing at which the food was delivered was just right. This rounded off a good couple of days in the resort and I have no hesitation in recomending to others. I love Espagnol. The food is excellent, the welcome warm and the atmosphere is one of authentic Spain. Moises is a wonderful host and the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.....they even tolerate my attempts at Spanish with good humour and helpful hints on pronounciation. We have just come back from Southern Spain and I will be taking friends to Espagnol very soon, so that they can enjoy a taste of Spain in sunny Poulton! Hasta pronto!

We were a party of four taking a weekend break in Blackpool . We wanted a nice steak meal and Truffles was recommended by a waiter at our hotel. We arrived to a freindly welcome and lovely atmoshere. We all ordered different steak dishes which were done to perfection.A great night which made our weekend complete.
