Bell and Bottle, The – KirkhamMy wife and families are regulars at this venue due to the food and service being 1st. class.
Bell and Bottle, The – KirkhamWhat a fantastic place this is!! A hidden gem in Fleetwood! The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit if you want to enjoy a great night with friendly staff and an excellent feed! Yum Yum!!
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodI regularly visit The Venue and I find it the best place to eat in Cleveleys, the food is superb topped off with fantastic service, I regularly visit on a Tuesday and occasionally at weekends and have never been let down! The steak pie is the best I have ever tasted whoever made that recipie should be famous! I just wish after a meal I could move I'm always that full and then they ask would you like dessert, I wish!!!! The service is top quality and I must thank all the waiters and waitresses you do a top quality job you always have time for a chat, a joke and you make us feel comfortable! The views are second to none you can sit in the window and look out to sea, and the whole place is modern with a friendly deminer. I must add my thanks again to all the staff, especially the Chefs and waitresses! Oh and Paul who always brings a smile to my face on a Tuesday lunch time, And his young assistant Tim who always gets me one of those lovely window tables! THANKS GUYS & GIRLS!!!!!
The Venue – Thornton-Cleveleysif the food had been spectacular i would not have minded the dire service however it wasn't. it was OK but not good enough to be snapped at by the woman behind the counter. my food had taken longer than expected and id enquired about it as the 2 customers behind me had already been served and left, at this point i felt the response had been more abrupt than necessary but accepted the response that there was a wait for the sausages to be cooked. I was then conversing with the customer behind about the difference between a sandwich and a butty and was rudely instructed not to be "slagging them off to the other customers" . I assume she decided that was what our conversation was about but it wasn't although if id known how rude she would be it might well have been. certainly shan't eat there again. Ive heard them be rude to people before and bought fish which turned out to be stale a fortnight ago - hence the sausages this time. enough is enough ill find somewhere else to buy.
Thorpeys – GarstangMy Nanny went in this afternoon with my daughter and son for one of the wonderful home made ice creams. After finding a table inside as there were no tables outside she ordered an ice cream for herself and my daughter and a juice for my son. The juice came in a lovely plastic cup with a straw and my son sat beautifully and drank it. He then caught the base of the cup on a ridge in the table and spilt it. My nanny asked for a serviette and was told rudely the female owner someone would have to clear it up and that it would have to be mopped properly. Fair enough but surely a serviette wouldn't have been too much of a problem. A poor waitress brought a mop and bucket to be hollered at by her boss that it needed to be done properly with a wet mop then a dry mop. My nanny in the meantime had now been made to feel very awkward by the female and male owner. She was then told and I mean told, to move outside. She didn't and moved to another table inside whilst the area was mopped properly. My daughter and herself finished their ice creams feeling like naughty children. Even the woman on the table next to them commented on the way in which she had been disgustingly treated. I rang to lodge a complaint about the way she was treated and was told that my Nanny hadn't even apologised for the the spillage. Sorry? What was she apologising for? Accidents happen!! She, nor I would ever return to this cafe even if the ice creams were free. Disgusting customer service and overpriced!!
Fancy That – Lythamwaited for the opening fuss to die down before trying this venue, as a substitute for The Trawlboat. All was good, our order was correct, well cooked and up to the usual standard. service was good, and we hit a quiet spell. we liked the modern interior. parking could be a problem but we got parked on the road opposite. this new eaterie should give others a bit of competition and the local small shops should get a bit more footfall too. well done JD's
The Railway Hotel – LythamBEWARE! The manager does not care! I visited on 21st August, and had the king prawns. Within half a hour I felt Ifaint hot and clammy and very tired. I spent the whole night being sick. I was doubled over and could not stand straight. The next day my head hurt so much I couldn't lift it off the pillow and I could not move out of bed. I had to have the day off work. I am a dental nurse and my dentist had to cancel patients. My husband called into the pub and was told the manager was off and would ring the next day, however the chef insisted the prawns were if anything over cooked. I rang the next night and spoke to the manager who quite honestly did not give a damn. He said he would ring back, I said are you not going to say sorry and ask am I feeling any better? Needless to say I am still waiting for my phone call. I lost 2 1/2lb after eating there, so if you want a fast weight loss this is the place to go.

Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-Fyldei have been using the ghurka since it opened and eat there at least 4 times a week and due to the rudeness and extreme bad attitude of the recptionist over a peiod of mths i shouted at her on my last visit as i was so annoyed. my family and friends a total of 56 different peopple also use the ghurka regulary and now refuse to come as i am apparently barred. perhaps you need to realize that staff are there to serve the public and not be rude and bad mannered. all the other staff are absolutley marvellous and the restaurant is excellent and i would recommend the ghurka to everone. i now have a 3 people tonight coming to visit me and it was arranged 3 months ago to attend the ghurka for a meal and they are dissapointed that we can not come fo a meal tonight. yours faithfully mrs g ballance

Bosco – LythamJack's has been a favourite for a long time now and we are so happy they are doing well! Now open for breakfast and the choice and quality of fayre is excellent as always, I would recommend the "eggs royale" personally but my wife has enjoyed the eggs benedict, full english, crumpets and croisants (not all at once!). In evening the standars is tip top as ever, I love the rib eye and the belly pork, so good I think we might go tonight!!
