Vesuvio – Blackpoolno open times or phone number online should be one bull shte
Carlitos – Knott End-On-SeaThis was our first visit and certainly wont be the last. The surroundings were beautiful, the service fantastic, and the food so tasty, if you are in ,or visiting Blackpool visiting this restaurant is a must
Sapori – BlackpoolMyself and my Husband went to the Grapes for a light lunch, we both choice a salad, I went for the bistro salad which was £9.95. It sounded fantastic on the menu, but not cheap, when it arrived I could see straight away that the chicken was very over cooked and extremely dry. I was asked if I would like dressing which I did but there was hardly anything on it,the salad came with stilton which turned out to be shavings and very few at that, I was also supposed to get croutons but I didn't. My Husband said his was OK, but nothing special. We ordered another drink and I decided to go for a tia maria coffee, 20 mins later it still hadn't arrived, they were definitely not run off their feet,I complained and still had to wait another 10 mins. The pub was very quiet and yet there were lots of dirty glasses around the bar.We didn't enjoy our visit and definitely will not be returning.
Grapes – KirkhamWant to find a food heaven then book early. The place is run well organised captain at the helm. Just pop in for a coffee and you will be hooked. Cheers.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe Queens Hotel Pub is lovely now the new owners have taken over. We have eaten there twice now and recommend it to all our friends. The food is a typical pub menu except the food is not microwaved rubbish but tastes freshly cooked and good quality. The specials also provide interesting alternatives - the venison burger was delicious! An example of how good the food is that I was able to eat ribs with a knife and fork as they were do tender they fell off the bone. We also enjoy stopping in for a coffee or a pint when walking on the prom. The Queens is just the sort of establishment Lytham was lacking - good quality hearty pub food. We will be going back again very soon!
Queens Hotel – LythamOf all the Chinese Restaurants and takeaways I have visited in the area, Yum Sing is definitely the best. The food quality and taste is superb, I particularly like their use of chilli to give heat to the dishes without overpowering the taste. Last time I ate in, there were several Chinese groups dining, which is always a good sign.
Yum Sing – Thornton-CleveleysWhether eating in or out the food is great quality. Good value and good service.
Red Fort – LythamTook family across three generations on a busy Sunday. Service was great, the menu whilst pub predictable was executed as well as can be expected. Good beers and wines deliver a great value for money experience.
Queens Hotel – LythamVisited Da Carmelo 's with my wife on Friday 23rd December 2011 with little knowledge of the place but only what we had read on their website. Initially when we were sat down it was obvious that the manager was trying to cram us all into one corner as the table we were shown too was very close to a family of 5 eating next to us. It was a bit too close for comfort considering the size of the restaurant and the fact there was only 20 or so people dining. We therefore moved to another table which was ready laid for two people. After sitting here for 10 seconds I put my hand on the table top and it was literally thick with dust - it had obviously not been wiped for weeks or even months so we moved again. When ordering the food the waitress was pleasant enough and the waiters also, however when the food was served it was not nearly hot enough but in fact merely warm. We did not request it be taken back and heated up as this would simply destroy the flavour and we didn't want to wait for it all to be cooked again so regardless of this we tucked in. Having just finished work for Christmas earlier that day I was in a good festive spirit so upon paying the bill I made small talk with the manager/owner (as you do) but he was clearly not interested in wasting his time talking to me. It was so blatantly obvious he wanted me to pay and go so much so that when I settled the bill and said thanks he didn't even have the common courtesy to look up at me of which this really offended me. So in conclusion, the restaurant was dirty, the food was not hot enough and the manager was extremely rude, therefore I would not recommend Da Carmelo's and we will not be returning!
Da Carmelo – GarstangMy favourite fish and chip shop on the Fylde Coast. Consistently excellent ,first class service with a smile. Clean premises. Child friendly.
Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysTaste what a place. We as a family went to Taste for our Christmas dinner The food is just amazing the staff so friendly Would certainly recommend this place to Anybody all you top restaurants watch out. Taste is certainly on The way up
Taste – Thornton-CleveleysGood meal .cooked well but not enough on the plate .Still left hungry. . The worst part of the meal was that the building itself was freezing . Not a good atmosphere to enjoy a meal . Also the it was quite dark as the lighting had gone out in the area we were sat in. Shame really as a nice place but wont be going again cant take the risk.
Dahlia’s Kitchen – Blackpoolwe all went for a family meal. it was very nice very friendly and good value,I enjoyed myself very much as did the rest of my family .we are going again on wednesday 28th dec
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – BlackpoolAbsolutely shocking meal, my 3 year old could have done better. Chef couldn't even cook pasta for the veggie in our group let alone a 3 course meal!!!! Main course tasted like a tin of dog food, dessert could have been made weeks before it was so stale. Will not be returning!!!!!
The Sands Venue – BlackpoolThe entertainment hasn't even started but the food and the service is shocking. The waitress said the word chef when we complained, at which point they brought the veggie in our group pasta that was under cooked, how do you get boiling pasta wrong as a chef?!!!!!, I'm now visualising a spotty teenager as the chef. Do not go it's vile and so not worth the money!
The Sands Venue – BlackpoolSuper food and entertainment but they just did not know how to make an Irish Coffee i think they were using the wrong cream. WE will certainly come again.
