Went again the other evening in April 2012. Great food. Each dish different and full of flavour. The chili ratings were accurate and there was plenty to eat. Will go again soon waistline permitting!
Red Fort – LythamWe stopped off in this restaurant for the first time about 4 years ago when my family and I came down to Blackpool for a long weekend from Edinburgh, and we thought the food was exceptional! Easily the best Indian food we've ever had. We specifically hunted down the restaurant when we returned last week because we were so fond of the food, the ambiance, and the first class service we received. We had 4 different dishes, and every single one of them was enjoyed; they even offered us a free sample dish along with our meals as a token of good faith, which we thought was very nice of them! All in all, we loved our time there and if we are down in Blackpool again we will definitely stop into the Red Fort again!
Red Fort – LythamHaving read the reviews about The Hand and Dagger we decided to try it for ourselves. We certainly were not disappointed. We were greeted by a large open fire and very friendly staff. The decor is subdued but very tasteful. All the food was really good, well cooked and nicely presented. Our friends, who live local to the pub, were amazed at how good everything was and how friendly the staff were. We will definitely be back. G and E.
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamWe have ordered takeaway meals from the Dragon twice over the last two or three weeks. The staff are very friendly and the food on both occasions has been really good. Best Chinese Restaurant for miles around, they are really that good! You will need to dig out your cheque book or cash as they don't take card payments but don't let that put you off. Steve

Red Fort – LythamWe have been regulars at the Red Fort ever since it opened, 10years ago. The welcome and attention we receive, the service and quality of the food cannot be beaten, in our opinion. Whenever help is needed, in selecting a dish, advice is always to hand and if the 'spicyness' of any particular dish needs adjusting there is never a problem. Ahad, and his staff, couldn't be more helpful, friendly and accommodating. It is a 'family-friendly' restaurant, with high-chairs available, and youngsters can always be provided with an alternative to Indian cuisine. We always look forward to our weekly visit, usually on a Thursday, and would recommend the Red Fort without hesitation. Keep up the good work boys. See you tomorrow !!
Red Fort – LythamI can highly recommend the Red Fort in Lytham. The waiters are extremely helpful and friendly. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is excellent. The new decor is amazing and this is easily the best Indian restaurant.
Red Fort – LythamBefore you go in look around the back it is disgusting the yard needs a good powerwash ,bins overflowing stale smelly water in the gutter .A health inspector should check this, it must not nice for residents to look at this or people passing.
Whelans – LythamVisited Fancy That in March 2012. It has got to be the worst cafe in Lytham for quality and service. Also the most expensive. Will not visit again and certainly would not recommend.
Fancy That – LythamI recently visited the Dunes Hotel in Blackpool on Lytham road where i was pleasantly surprised, previously the old Landlord Let the place go and the staff seemed to do as they wished and were not very welcoming, the pub has a new Manager According to Paul who is a Team Leader, food quality was good ,food was served hot and the service me and my family received was delivered in a friendly and professional manner, we were offered table service also, on this occasion I experience the wow factor. we will defo recommend this pub to our family and friends.

The staff are also excellent and very attentive to our requirements and also good at recommending alternative dishes for us to try to broaden our curry experience!! I would have no doubts in recommending the Red Fort to anyone visiting Lytham. Give it a whirl - you won't regret it!!

The Fairhaven – LythamHIGHLY RECOMMENDED - We often visit the Red Fort as a family and regularly try new dishes. We have yet to find one which has disappointed. We have teenage children who are growing out of eating out with their parents but they always ask to go to the Red Fort. This is by far the best Indian restaurant we have been to and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian food.
