Farina 2.0 – LythamNice Italian, food was lovely, the meatballs starter was lovely. I had the sausage pasta which was creamy and light. Daughter had the black garlic spaghetti which was earthy. Tiramisu was lovely, although the tiramisu from 2 sizes in Rome will always be hard to beat, and the same could also be said for the aperol spritz. Service was quick and friendly, very welcoming. Will definitely return.

The atmosphere in the old library was delightful. The food was top class, and the service was efficient without being rushed. We enjoyed multiple cups of coffee between our mini courses. Buraq – KirkhamMy daughters & I had the Gold afternoon tea, starting with a glass of Prosecco, moving on to freshly cut tasty sandwiches, crisps (in a miniature china teacup!) warm scones with cream & jam, miniature flans, small glasses with desserts, and finishing with individual carrot cakes. The friendly staff made us very welcome and tea and coffee came as often as we required. It was a very pleasant way to spend a birthday afternoon!
