Taste – Thornton-CleveleysVisited Anatolia on Friday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The whole experience was excellent. Mixed mezes to share and then the BBQ mix grill (which was huge). All the food was tasty, incredibly fresh and definitely moreish! Service was delightful and the bill refreshingly small. Lovely, crisp Turkish white wine but sadly not able to try pudding due to size of main course (will try on next visit). Can't wait to return for great food and excellent service.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaWent to the Michael Buble Tribute last night had a great time. Have to say it is by far the best dining experience in the area and would recommend it. Service excellent and food top notch. The new owners Neal and Gillian go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Can't think of anything negative to say.
The Sparling Barton – GarstangIf you are looking for polite service I would not recommend Bistro Italia the food was ok but the service was not! We had not been asked whether we would like dessert when the waiter asked how long it would be before we would be asking for the bill as he had some friends who were wanting a table! (our table was 7.30 and we were home by 9.15pm) How rude we will not be returning and will ensure we tell our friends and family about this experience which spoilt our evening.
Bistro Italia – Poulton-Le-FyldeChicken, Bacon, Cheese mixed with Mayo Panini... to die for!!! Highly Recommended.
Nosh Sandwich Shop – Blackpoolsapori, well can i say by far the best italian restaurant in blackpool i must go every 2 weeks, the food is always spot on and the friendly service to is great if u dont visit sapori on your visit then you have missed out.
Sapori – BlackpoolAs a vegetarian, one of the ways i judge a venues attitude to us Veggies is by the use of Parmesan in Vegetarian Dishes. Any establishment who has properly sourced their ingredients and has done an ounce of research knows that Parmesan is not suitable for Veggies. (it contains animal rennet - juices from the Stomach of Slaughter Calves) Therefore i was most disappointed when browsing the Cafe Grand menu, to discover Vegetarian items on the menu containing Parmesan. Makes you wonder how they source the ingredients for other Vegetarian Dishes too? Sorry The Grand, you've lost a customer!
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaVery attractive restaurant. The new upstairs room is lovely - good for private functions or quiet intimate meals. Food is faultless and the staff are a delight. Wine a little pricey but who drinks wine with Indian food !
The Lemon Tree Indian Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeWent to Knott End Cafe for my lunch, my first impression was quite good. The young waitresses were very pleasant and efficient. The food was very nice (10/10 for the lovely male chef). A very pleasurable experience with the exception of a couple of rude staff members.
Knott End Cafe – Knott End-On-SeaI love Wah Wah's! The food has never disappointed. I especially love the national Thai dish of Papaya salad. I could eat it til it comes out of my ears! Defo worth a try when you visit here. If you don't see it on the menu, just ask for it. The yellow curry is amazing too. The lunchtime 2 course special for £6.90 is excellent value for money and can highly recommend the chicken satay and Pad Thai. Friendly service and nice clean surroundings with beautiful big paintings on the wall. If you love Thai food then you will love this place.
Wah Wahs – BlackpoolVery tasty fish, fluffy chips, peas are to die for! Staff are very pleasant in the take away and the restaurant. Don't be put off by the young looking staff they have, they are all very polite. All round fantastic.
Middle Chippy – BisphamWe are regular visitors to Vesuvio. The food and service is excellent! Recommend!!
Vesuvio – BlackpoolSpot on use this shop because you actually get some proper quality meat on your sandwich.
Home Maid by Stella – Thornton-CleveleysI saw the recommendations on sugarvine and decided to take my Greek Cypriot father for his birthday, he thought i was joking! Until we left the restaurant after a fantastic evening, with amazing food and service. What a great experience, such friendly staff. Thank you for looking after my dad, he loves your Baklava! I enjoyed it so much I'm going again tomorrow night!
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-Seagreat food ,great price, great atmosphere, what more can you ask for. definitely dine in this restaurant when in Blackpool, it's so much better than any of the chain Italian restaurants. We had dinner on 2 nights whilst visiting family in Blackpool and will certainly go back again,
Vesuvio – BlackpoolGood food but watch out for the £1 extra they charge for takeaways if you use a debit card. This is a rip off as it only costs 20p to service a debit card payment. I will not be returning until this unjustified charge is removed.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysWe visited this restaurant on Wed 13th July 2011 at about 20.00hrs. As we were staying at the Travelodge Blackpool Central and on our way to Funny Girls, it was spot on location wise. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who guided us to a lovely table by the window. We were impressed by the £9.95 two course offer so went for that. This means you can choose the starter and the main course from the menu, which is also spot on, just the right amount of selection of dishes with a good variety. We have tried MANY Indian restaurants when in Blackpool and this is definitely the best one yet. The quality of the food stands out as 'proper' meat is used and the sauces have wonderful flavours. The naan was totally fresh, as was the rice etc. The drinks were delicious too, I love Cobra and this is on draft. All the guys that served us were very pleasant, polite and efficient. We would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will most definitely be back in the future. A big thank you to all the staff.
Al Amir – BlackpoolFirst visited the Ship Inn in 1969! My husband and I have just returned from a four day break in St Anne's and ate at the Ship Inn every night - something we never do. Food is excellent, great choice, fantastic staff and nothing is too much bother for them if a request is made. Hope to be back again in September. Have recommended to several friends who are holidaying in the area.
