Ziggy’s Cafe Bar – Blackpoolthis is honestly the best thing about living in st annes i LOOOVE this place ... you have to go there ;)
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a fab place, a bit of Turkey in St Annes! We also had the Turkish pizza starter, then the kebabs with rice at lunchtime. The staff were wonderful very welcoming and the food is to die for. Please, please, please visit this restaurant it is the best Turkish food in Lancashire. Will be going again very soon for dinner.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaGreat food, Excellent prices, and you always get a smile! Great for takeaway food on the go!
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolBest Chip Shop in the North West, tasty food all times and a very friendly atmosphere. I travel from Morecambe to go there as I have never tasted such good traditional food as Kay's. I keep asking them to move to Morecambe because I know they would be a hit. Be back soon
Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysI have used and recommended the Akash for the past 20 years and it is still the best in Blackpool. My family often make the 120 mile round trip from Cheshire for what they call" a proper Indian"
Akash Tandoori – BlackpoolChips and fish from Kays are delicious, been there a couple of times in last month or so. Cooked to order and batter to die for. Not stingy portions either. I can highly recommend them, can't wait to go again. Handy to find right beside the bus station with an sit-in cafe if you don't won't to eat outside.
Kays Fish and Chips – Thornton-CleveleysWe had a great meal and a very warm welcome.Even my very fussy eater son said can we go back - and we will Gammon a particular favourite
Hand and Dagger – KirkhamWe chanced upon this great little place on St Albans Road during it's opening week and decided to give it a go, we were not disappointed. Olivers is not a swanky cafe/restaurant but the atmosphere is so relaxed with chilled out music and friendly service. The chef, Oliver is obviously passionate about his food and it shows. We're sure his garlic mushrooms will become legendary - they are that good! His pizza and pasta dishes are fabulous & we love the fact we can take our favourite bottle of Italian Red with us. We are regulars now and even pop in for one of his paninis at Saturday lunchtime. One last thing perhaps we should mention are the prices: the food is very, very affordable.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaFresh, clean, good food, excellent prices and a very friendly and helpful service. For takeaway food during working hours, NOSH cannot be beaten.
Nosh Sandwich Shop – BlackpoolThe food is very good especially the donner kebabs BUT when you have to pay £2.50 for delivery every time we get the food its cold. They deliver it in a tatty cardboard base of a box,Surely with all the money they charge for deliveries they would invest in a hot bag £ 25 on e bay !!(same as pizza hut etc etc) then you might have a fighting chance of hot food, but heating a donner in the microwave not good practice.Sorry we wont use again,so just beware if you want hot food and live more than 500yards away think again !!!!!!!!
Michaels Indian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysTop cheap grub in here. Cheap beer . Staff are great too. Me and my partner are regulars on a Sunday for a nice meal. Give it a go. I doubt you will be disappointed.
Newton Arms, The – BlackpoolWe visited The Restaurant last night to celebrate DH birthday. On arrival the bar staff were extremely welcoming and we were seated and given complimentary canopies which were lovely. We chose the 9 course Taster menu at £50 per head which from start to finish was an absolute delight, our favourite being the chateaubriand, which came in 4 maybe 5 thick slices served medium rare as requested with jus and other fancy bits which escape my memory! Also the Thai lemon rice pudding with coconut sorbet and lemon grass at first was too lemony but when tasted altogether was a delight. The cheese board is varied and each cheese explained to us fully by the very attentive staff and we were really too full to do it justice. With coffee and chocolate petit fours this meal was one we talk about for a while I think. They also do a 5 course taster menu at £30 and 7 course at £40. Well worth a visit to the restaurant.
The Tapas Bar and Restaurant – KirkhamAttended here last week. Poor service and poor food. Frankly the place is full of Hooray Henry's which I do not doubt the name derives from. That's all a shame as ive eaten here before some weeks back and all was well, apart from the service. The owner really should invest in some good waiting on staff instead of employing kids. When we asked about wine, they were clueless, ditto the main meal and if it had nut traces as my wife is allergic. Sad to say I wont be recommending this venue here or to my employees.
Henry’s – LythamI highly recommend Bispham Kitchen as there food is simply delicious. No matter what your preferences are, Bispham Kitchen really does have something for everyone. Their fish is what many would class as close to perfection, their chips are clearly made with care and the cooks clearly know how to get the balance between greasy and dry just right. I have already recommended it to a few, each of which have agreed that Bispham Kitchens food is delicious.
Bispham Kitchen – BisphamVisited Sabai Sabai on Monday 21 Feb 2011 with 2 friends. We had been many years ago with the previous owners & were a bit wary when we walked in to find no-one else dining there. However we decided to give it a try & we were so pleased that we did. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. It was all freshly cooked & well presented & very reasonably priced. The Thai green curry was excellent. We will definitely be returning in the near future & will recommend it to all our friends
Sabai Sabai Thai Restaurant – BlackpoolNot a recommendation i'm afraid, after reading the reviews my boyfriend and i thought we would go along and have a good steak meal! All i can say is we didn't!.. not at all as the reviews indicated...cheap cafe food for restaurant prices and the free wine i wouldn't even cook with!
JK’s Steakhouse – BlackpoolMyself, wife and Son have visited St Annes On Sea several times from Manchester. We always go to the Seafarers and have always found the food very good and the staff equally friendly. Would recommend the Seafarers to everyone.
