Suda Thai Cuisine – Poulton-Le-FyldeHad a lovely lunch here today. Excellent value for exceptionally good home cooked food. The family that run the hotel were welcoming and friendly and the waitress is a real character. Will definitely be returning in the none-to-distant and hope to get to a curry night soon. Give this place a try, you won't regret it!
Kenlis Arms Hotel – GarstangJust got back in from a meal at Ego. I had goats cheese for starter which was REALLY nice, but could of done with a slightly larger portion as I was enjoying it so much. I had the spaghetti carbonara for my main course which was lovely and filled me just nicely, I wasn't stuffed but I wasn't still hungry either. The host we had really made this an extra-enjoyable meal as there was nothing he couldn't do to make us happy. Great results for Ego, we will be returning as it seems to tick all the boxes here, great food, amazing service and an acceptable price too. WELL DONE EGO!
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamI have eaten at Ego several times since opening, each time I have chosen something different off the menu and each time have enjoyed an exquisite meal!! The service is incredible friendly, and i would recommend Ego for anyone looking for an excellent meal out whatever time!
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamHad a great night here on Saturday just gone. Sugarvine helped me decide once again! The food was top drawer as was the wine, service etc. Would definitely recommend the seafood risotto, plenty of juicy morsels; prawns, mussels, scallops, calamari and clams. My girlfriend had ravioli which was made with fresh pasta, with a bottle of pinot and a couple of puddings was only £50. Fantastico!!!
Portofino – LythamJust got back in from a fantastic evening at Twelve. The staff are amazingly helpful and the food is just to die for. The whole place was buzzing with people and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be going back again very soon. If your considering a meal then this is the only place to book!
Twelve – Thornton-Cleveleysthe best in town we had my daughters 21st there for48 of us 5 star food & 5 star service Thank you for the best night ever
Tiramisu – BlackpoolFIRST IS A FRIEND. SECOND IS A BEST CHEF,,,,,,
Margherita – St. Annes-On-SeaBest Indian takeaway in St.Annes without doubt.
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaA group of us from work went to Go Greek for lunch on Friday 29th Jan. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal , it was all very well presented, the service was excellent, the food very fresh and appetising and good value for money. I hope this restaurant continues to give us what we are sadly lacking in Blackpool !
Go Greek – BlackpoolThe offer on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday is fantastic- poppadoms and dips plus any starter any main course and coffee for £9.95.The food is delicious and the service excellent
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaMy hubby and i met here some 19 years ago and often visit for special meals. We went in November and it was fantastic so after the birth of our little boy we decided to celebrate with our two older boys on Monday. How disappointed we were. I ordered the hot pot having had it previously to be served up a dish of microwaved slop!!! It was accompanied by a shop bought roll and no red cabbage as advertised. My hubby's meal of viking gammon did not come with any vegetables. |The boys meals were okay, throughout the whole time we were made to feel like we shouldn't be there as it was late afternoon when we arrived, even though we did check they still served food. Obviously they wanted to finish early and the whole experience was awful. would think twice about going again.
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangFood was great and staff were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-FyldeYou really can't fault the Buraq, top quality food (and lots of it) excellent service and very good value for money.
Buraq – Kirkhamvisited after a friend recommended whelans to us sat in the upstairs dining room which was bright and airy we both had the special a large halibut which was lovely and good value for money service was excellent Anna the supervisor looked after us really well will definitely visit again when in Lytham.
Whelans – Lythamfantastic service, great food at good price. chicken madras is best i have ever head together with delicious mushroom fried rice and enormous garlic naan. takeaway service also superb as none of the food quality is sacrificed. the best indian around for food quality and price.
Maya – Poulton-Le-FyldeFantastic value lunch menu Great service Really pleased we found it.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWent to a dinner dance here at the weekend have to say; The food was a complete let down - The soup starter tasted of pepper and nothing else. The vegetables were cold and overcooked, the new potatoes were cold tasteless and overcooked, the roast potatoes were cold, soggy and burnt and were not crispy at all doubt they had even seen a roasting dish, the coffee when poured as a white coffee looked like it was still a black coffee. The pudding was okay probably the best part of the meal for those who had the chocolate tart but the cheese and biscuits were a big let down with no choice of cheese just what you were chosen to have and each plate differed. It was a little disconcerting having to have a drink in the bar in formal evening wear with locals and received some odd stares form the regulars which is a little off putting - this hotel could do with a bar area that is separate for dinner dances. The function room was lovely (Ballroom) like the new decor. Service by the staff was very good, the evening was enjoyable despite the poor food.
