Very nice site!
Grosvenor Casino Blackpool – Blackpooli have been coming here for the past 12 years with my family and friends and we cannot make one complaint about this wonderful place the food and staff are great and are very pleasant 5 stars .
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – Blackpoolbest in thornton area its a must
Dragon Inn Chinese – Thornton-CleveleysVery impressed with Java. After many failed attempts at success by the former owner under a different name, this venue should be successful. The place looks good, bright and clean. The staff look sharp in their city style aprons. Everything on the menu was very reasonably priced and I really like the selection of dishes. Part cafe and restaurant with English and Italian influences. Its a bar as well with Warsteiner and Peroni on tap. They have also managed to bag Illy coffee which in my opinion is the best around. Good luck to them at Java.
Java – LythamFor the past 10 years we have dined regularly at Jacks. The food is always good quality, well presented and reasonably priced. There is also a good choice of wines. The early bird/specials menu changes weekly and always has something new to try on it. Keith and his staff always make us very welcome and we have not found anywhere to beat this restaurant.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaOur group really enjoyed the Toast experience. Menu was brilliant so much choice, service brilliant and with a smile. We will be visiting again and spreading to word
Toast Cafe Bar and Grill Restaurant – BlackpoolThe michaels restaurant in thronton has been since its inception of some rude asians, the worst restaurants I have ever visited. Its not that I hate my Asian brothers who work there as I visit them regularly. Over the years I have marvelled at how this particular restaurant could manage to consistently upset the asians who visit them on table with providing poor customer service. Then this Thursday this went worse to more worse.when i went with my friend's and family. I have given up on the minimal thank you as this is now a rarity in many establishments. This organisation must train its employees NOT to ignore its customers(who are asians) as they are just too good at it. Just when I thought their service had hit bottom, today they managed to best their worst. Firstly the TEAM was of foolish people who after a lot of discussions with grt difficulty made to our table. without once actually looking at us,(I have to admit I am no Brad Pitt, but I'm not Freddie Kruger either) they took an order, they never had a smile or a thanks gesture.then the food was served which i dont know for what reason was tasting like a sweet dish.while we were having our meal no one ever enquired if we were alryt with everything, it was as if we were having that meals for free of cost.when we were half way through the meal they made us uncomfortable by asking if we have finished the meal while such alot of food was visible on our plates. As we finished the meal the waiter with ugly looks(the specs guy) comes on and grabs all the plates asking the ladies to hand over the knives and forks while the good lady was giving him that he snatched them away as if we were taking them home. As I marvelled at his dexterity, I wondered why someone with such talent was not in Cirque du Soleil amazing young and old with his food service acrobatics. I was going to say something but then simply accepted this performance as part of the deal. Which was not new with this asian people.I finally decided to tell the manager but he was not available so thought to write this piece in an effort to alert others looking for good food and service.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – Thornton-CleveleysI have been going to the "Traf" for 40 years. It has passed from parents to sons in that time. I have NEVER had a bad meal there whether it is from the al a carte or early bird menu - excellent.
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodHad heard a fair bit about this place so we thought we'd give a go, and wow we loved it, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS :D and the staff made us feel so at home! We had 3 courses for £7.95 which we reckoned was great value, give it a go you won't be disappointed!
Paramount Chinese Restaurant – Blackpooli think this is the best Chinese takeaway in the fylde. the staff are always polite and willing to help, the food is always outstanding never had a bad meal
Lee Garden – Thornton-CleveleysMy wife and I recently had lunch in the Horn Inn in Churchtown. We did not want a full meal so decided on soup and a sandwich. £3.95 for a plate of tasteless lukewarm minestrone with a piece of crusty bread and butter and £5.45 for a single stringy roast beef sandwich with a small pot of watery coleslaw and some greenery. Terrible value, the worst I've had for a long time, it's going to be the New Holly or Punchbowl in future!
Horns Inn – GarstangWHAT A FANTASTIC RESTAURANT !!!! EVERY TIME I GO TO BLACKPOOL, I MUST EAT HERE, FOOD IS AMAZING , STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY, RELAXING DECOR AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN
Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant – Poulton-Le-FyldeVisited in April and found their seafood platter special a real treat. Great variety of good quality fish. The owners Jason and Elizabeth couldn’t have been more hospitable. Appreciate their respect for the original characterful features of the old cottage too since the tasteful refurb, such as maintaining the beach cobbled wall. Their own Tartar sauce is wonderful.
The Cottage – BlackpoolFirst time visit and a re renovation programme was well advanced. Still slightly bemused by the upholstery. An excellent sandwich, though ,even if the bar service was a little surly.
Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeDon't have the hamburger.
Poor value for money accompanied by poor service for a large group 17 who have decided to choose else where for their annual meal. Dessert waitress didn't know the dessert menu. Luckily we checked the bill as that was wrong in their favour. Orders forgotten until reminded coupled with a complacent head waiter who probably doesn't realise he has to up the game of his team in terms of customer service. Plicating us with a couple of free dishes isn't the answer guys get it right to start with.
Portofino – LythamGASTRO DELITE EXTRAORDINAIRE
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-Fyldeit was nice chilled sunny Friday evening. the roads were busy and the sky was blue. i cud hear a magpie twittering from a near by tree it looked like an oak tree but cud of been a fir tree????? there was a group of about 15 of us all raring to go to demolish the buffet. we got in the and was greeted by a nice little thai bird. We was escorted to our seat and was told to go help ourselves i got a drink it was a pint of coca cola it cost £2 i thought this is strange it only cost £1.20 in a bar or pub. we made our way to the buffet bar thingy and i indulged in some MEAT!!!!!!!! especially the ribs mmmmmmmmm. the chow mien was quite nice but overall i was a bit disappointed the food was not as nice as the previous visits i have made there. cant wait to go next week with chop john adamski chris and martin (quilt / vegetarian) hopefully the food will be nicer. your sincerely Steven Coles
