Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaWe would highly recommend the Trafalgar restaurant, my wife and i went for the first time on 30th May 2008. the food was absolutely Delicious the service was superb the whole evening was a night to remember. we had the paella
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodWhat a pleasant dining experience. I felt that the service was impecible and a smile goes a long way.
Lee Garden – Thornton-Cleveleysthis takeaway is one of the best. food is always excellent mixed meat curry and shredded crispy beef are our favorites with salt and pepper ribs yum yum. try it out you will not be disappointed. phone your order in as it mainly very busy
East Ocean Chinese Takeaway – KirkhamMy husband and I love this lovely little restaurant, best thing that happened to Highfield Road. We regularly go there and would recommend it to anyone. The Tournados Rossini is great (we nearly always have that). Excellent value for money - both the wine and the food.
San Marcos – Blackpoolfound this little cafe on last day of our holiday after traipsing round all week looking for a decent meal. enjoyed lunch so much we returned that evening for dinner. Food excellent, prices really reasonable and staff really friendly. We will definitely be returning as we have family in the area.
Tiggy Winkles Of Bond Street – BlackpoolGreat Cantonese restaurant. Slightly expensive but well worth it. Don't go without having Dim Sum for your starter, it is out of this world! Perfect for a big table of friends to have great food and a good laugh! 10/10
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaTypical of the way these big chains are taking over the great British pub. The same thing is happening to cafes with brands like Costa Coffee and Cafe Nero wiping the floor with the small businessman. The food here is not very good, they are now a two-for-one on the food so while you are saving money on your meal they are stinging you with the price of the ale. Do not order a short drink and unless you have your cheque book do not order a double! It is nearly three quid for a pint aswell. And the bastards got rid of the pool table too. I aint happy.
Bell and Bottle, The – Kirkham3rd MARCH 2008 & 22nd MAY 2008. MY HUSBAND AND I WENT FOR THE EARLY BIRD MENU BOTH TIMES AND FIND THE FOOD TO BE EXCELLENT. THE PORTIONS ARE NO SMALLER THAN THE ORDINARY MENU. IT WAS PRESENTED BEAUTIFULLY. GOOD CHOICE ON BOTH THE EARLY BIRD OR A LA CARTE MENU'S.
Pipers – GarstangThis is a great takeaway, it's half the price of dominos and the pizzas are twice as big. Choose From kebabs, fish n chips or Italian in the restaurant. It is a great atmosphere and i loved it i recommend it anyday. Hands Down!
Al Capones – BlackpoolWe had never heard of the Pulcinella until we spent nearly a hour between Cleveleys and Manchester Airport back in April in a beautiful people carrier with the man simply known as Bill the Airport Driver. Our interest got the better of us so we indulged and oh boy it was lovely.Food excellent service 100% spot on clean well laid out couldn't fault it.Haven't done a restaurant better in the area ever.
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysAte at this restaurant(non-residents)last week both lunch & dinner but sadly they ran out of some dishes and no alternatives! On whole, the food we had was great shame the service wasn't the same! the techno music in the evening wasn't to our liking, it spoilt what was a good evening... A. Martinoli Brighton. Would recommend but with reservations...
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaAfter visiting 'fancy that' on saturday 17th may 2008, I would like to let you know of my experiences. A pleasant enough environment, with an array of delicious sounding snacks on offer. How very wrong and what a disappointment. Over prices and lacking in creativity. A 'cheese and onion bursting baguette' arrived with approx 2 teaspoons of cheese and slithers of onion on a somewhat small baguette with a 'side salad' which was made up of one slice of tomatoe,2 small sticks of cucumber and a piece of lettuce. Myself and friend were astonished as eat out regularly and have never had such a uninspiring lunch! We complained only to be given dirty looks by the assistant who said to her ? boss,'well that's the amount I always put on' We had no apology, the food was returned to us on the same plate after having had an extra teaspoon of cheese added and the bread was rock hard. We could not be bothered complaining again as the staff were extremely surly with no customer service skills, and the total bill for a poor quality baguette a tea and coffee £14.80, discusting that people can be ripped off like this, my recommendation would be fine alternative cafe of which there are plenty!!
Fancy That – LythamMany thanks to head Waiter Rialdo and Sylvia for making our night at the Pulcinella on 12th May the very best visit ever.Rialdo and Sylvia were great fun and great company all evening. Many thanks to the guys in the kitchen the food was SENSATIONAL.The Prosecco was cold the banter with Rialdo as great fun as always Sylvia couldn't do enough to make you feel happy on a evening out.If you never go to the Pulcinella you never had a proper good restaurant meal and over all dining experience.
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysJust had my food delivered and what a disappointment. Let's start with the delivery guy; scruffy looking (please god it wasn't him that prepared the food). It was raining so the chips at the top of the bag were soaked wet through and they've changed! There now the cheapy drenched in fat ones that look like they were cooked last night then reheated. The chicken balls with rice in a box, not bad what can you expect. To finish off I ordered prawn skewars, looked as if someone had poohed on them and very tough to eat. Presentation leaves alot to be desired! What a waste of a tenner, knew dominos was the better choice!
Wok Wow – BlackpoolAFTER EATING TWICE IN CLEVELYS BRANCH I WAS ABSOLOUTELY APPALLED AFTER HAVING COMPLAINED TWICE ABOUT THE FOOD. FIRST TIME MISTAKE WAS ATROCIOUS- THE STEAK WAS RAW YET THE DESERT WAS FANTASTIC AND THE SECOND TIME RETURNED WITH MY CHILDREN. I ORDERED 5 CHOCOLATE BORWINIES, MY DESERT HAD DATES IN IT. OBVIOUSLY STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING, AFTER COMPLAINING WE WERE TOLD TO SHUT UP AND IT WAS CHOCOLATE BROWNIE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO THE WEEK BEFORE. ON LEAVING, I WAS GLARED AT BY THE CHEF AND WAS MADE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THAT RESTAURANT AGAIN WE WERE DISGUSTED!!!!! IT WAS ABSOLOUTELY APPALLING,
West Coast Rock Cafe – BlackpoolThis I am sad to say is not a recommendation but a complaint. We recently visited the Take Away section of Harry Ramsdens in Blackpool and ordered one haddock. The fish we were given was certainly not haddock. We complained and staff apologised and gave us another fish that was exactly the same. We are big fans of Harry Ramsden and frequently go to Guiseley near where we live. We were really disappointed with the fish we could not eat it it was watery looking and mostly batter and we could not eat it. We had paid £3.20 approx and there was no offer of getting our money back. Staff were most offhand and we were very annoyed at the idea that people are being conned into paying for haddock and receiving something much more inferior.
Harry Ramsdens – BlackpoolFabulous!! Went there for lunch today the food is so tasty! Had a chicken and chorizo salad it was fresh, warm and full of flavour. The salad leaves were also really good. Staff are friendly and efficient...it's a great place to do lunch if you're in the area. And the outside seating area is very nice too. Well done the Beach Terrace, I'll be coming back!
