Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesMy brother and I enjoyed a meal at the Royal Oak last evening: the food arrived in good time and was hot, well presented, tasty and plentiful (I left some of the chicken stir fry as there was just too much for me). We sat in the dining area which was quieter than the main bar area: that suited me well as I have some hearing loss. Staff were friendly and cheerful and the place has a good atmosphere. At no point though did anyone ask us if everything was OK with our meal - it was, so no big deal, but... and similarly as we left no one said goodbye/thank you: these minor niggles certainly won't stop us returning though. Essentially a great local pub!

The No 10 Bar and Kitchen – BlackpoolWe arranged a lunch with my friends and her granddaughter. It was absolutely delicious and they were so accommodating with the highchair and The baby Thyme has a very broad menu I’m very good value for money
Thyme – PoultonMy wife and I had lunch on Friday 30th November. We had booked online and had email confirmation. When we arrived we had a warm welcome from the barman who advised us to make our way to our table which had been reserved. The waitress came and took our drinks order and returned shortly after to take our food order. My go to meal here is the steak and kidney pie- a tasty crust and full of perfectly cooked meat. Plenty of chips, veg and very tasty gravy. My wife had fish and chips which she also enjoyed. I was too full to have a pudding but my wife had the fruit crumble and custard. It was really tasty but despite a valiant attempt she couldn't finish it. It was an excellent meal and service. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the waitress but she was very friendly and efficient. If you haven't been before I highly recommend a visit - and the steak and kidney pie !!
Royal Oak Hotel – Garstang2nd time and as wonderful as ever. I'm coeliac and they did a lovely gf version for me. Love the fact they serve the scone warm. Plenty to eat (we always take a few cakes home!) and as much tea or coffee as you want.

Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamMy husband and I were given afternoon tea at Lilibets as a treat for our Golden Anniversary and what a treat it was. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh. The warmed scones delicious. The sweet treats in the shot glasses were lovely. Of course we had no room for the opera cakes and carrot and walnut cakes so had them boxed to enjoy at home. Simon was a lovely host and was happy to take photos for the diners. We then had a tour of the Hall which was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the volunteers were a mine of information regarding the Clifton family. Very enjoyable day.

Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamLovely meal. Great atmosphere. Def one to return to
Farina & Co – LythamWe really enjoyed our lovely festive afternoon tea at Lilibets. Our host Simon was attentive and pleasant it was clear nothing was too much, he even found me some seedless jam! The food is excellent, really fresh and tasty. This is our second time dining there and I look forward to many more trips to Lytham House, it is truly beautiful and a wonderfully unique place to visit. All the volunteers deserve huge praise for the work they do. My only gripe is the parking situation. My mother is disabled and it took us 45 minutes to wait for an appropriate space to become available meaning we missed the opportunity to go around the house before our tea which was a huge shame as I would have loved to have seen the Dickens Christmas.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamAfternoon tea was a real treat. Beautiful setting. Fresh sandwiches. Warm crumble and warm scones. Selection of cakes. Excellent and attentive service.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamI booked the restaurant for my dad's 60th birthday, my parents were staying at Ribby Hall. The food was lovely and the service and staff were great. The bill was what we expected for 4 adults (over £100)We wanted to leave a tip but as we only had a £20 note we asked them to break it, however I don't think they heard us and we didn't like to ask for some change. We'd still go back as it was very good.
Buraq – KirkhamWe really enjoyed our afternoon tea. The food was lovely, we would have lost the Yorkshire pudding for another sandwich. The soup was a nice warming touch. We couldn't eat all the cakes, they were boxed up for us to bring home. The setting was very grand and we enjoyed being in the room, we understood why it was so hard to get in and felt a little cramped when we saw it. On the booking it said we had 90 minutes, after about 55 minutes the room started to empty and as a result, we felt under pressure to leave and relocated to the cafe.
