Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonAntons Cafe/Bar...St Annes on Sea, Lancashire. A superb place to wine and dine - be it a full hearty meal or just a relaxing coffee. If you are in St Annes then i have to say you MUST visit "Antons" Cafe/Bar.. Superb friendly welcome relaxing atmosphere. Plus leather chairs to sit on beside the windows looking out onto the beautiful street in St Annes, music playing the background, friendly hosts and quick splendid service without the sky high prices...what more could anyone want. Definitely earns 10/10 from my point of view.
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaSuperb! The Cottage more than lived up to the legend.
The Cottage – BlackpoolSecond visit and yes it was as good as the first. Everything excellent. Glad Bill the airport driver had a good anniversary he raves about the place. No doubt very best in the area
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysWe love this guy's pizzas - hot, fresh, very tasty. Thin crust and generous toppings. We particularly like the early week BOGOF deal on large pizzas which give 2 x 12" pizzas for between £8 and £9 or so. Well recommended!
Lytham Pizza Company – LythamWe decided to try Pipers after a recommendation from friends and were not disappointed. The staff were very polite and professional at all times. It was a Sunday lunchtime and there was a good choice of starters, main and deserts. We all went for the chicken liver pate which was smooth, creamy and very very tasty. For the main, two of our party had the beef which was excellent and the best gravy ive ever tasted. One opted for the lamb shank which fell off the bone and the other had the chicken supreme which going by the clean plate at the end was a great success. The chocolate pud and the lemon curd cheesecake were perfect to finish off. My sister who by her own admission sees herself as a bit of a food guru enjoyed the meal so much she made a marriage proposal to the chef forgetting that her husband of 25 years was stood behind her.. We will be returning very soon.
Pipers – GarstangExcellent hotel, fabulous atmosphere(especially the "sportsman’s bar") plus cuisine and beverages that would accommodate the most fastidious of clientele, also a warm welcome from staff allied to very reasonable prices make this venture well worth the encounter.
Victoria Hotel – Thornton-CleveleysSimply the best - no frills or pretensions just good, honest, decent food cooked to order while you wait. Recommendation - a large cod, chips, curry sauce and yes, a scallop and bread and butter to top it all off. What more could anyone want ............
The Haven Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaStumpy is the best landlord in the fylde, how many 3 foot landlords do you know??? The fact he has only got 4 and a half fingers makes it amazing that he can pour a pint. He needs to make happy hour available at weekends. Go Stumpy.
Stable Bar – KirkhamWe went to pipers for the second time last week on a Saturday night very busy my wife had the pan seared seabass baby ratatouille wilted spinach rosti potato, I had the pan fried local duck breast, stewed red cabbage, whipped sweet potatoes we had the house wine which was very good and it was fair trade wine there is a good selection of starters and sweets to choose from the service was good staff very friendly but professional the restaurant is small but the ambience is great thank you Pipers and your team
Pipers – GarstangMy wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Pipers no Saturday and I can honestly say that the quality of the cuisine, the ambience of the restaurant and the service we received was second to none and I can highly recommend Pipers to anyone looking for that bit of something extra when it comes to dining out. A big thank you to Ian who I have been told since was the head chef at the villa in Wrea Green and won restaurant of the year for a few years running. We can see why
Pipers – GarstangA couple of new dishes have been added that are well worth trying in particular the Rezatha which is the best Indian dish I have tasted
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaIf you fancy going out for a drive and something to eat on a sunny day then this place is just right. The canal is full of ducks and geese for the children to feed and the canal boats, in particular the narrow boats are interesting to see too. There's a large seating area outside overlooking the canal and dogs are welcome too. Th'Owd Tithe Barn is a very picturesque pub/eatery and inside is very cozy and friendly with old farming equipment on display. There are countless numbers of fruit wines to choose from and you can choose to eat from the regular menu or the specials board. The food is fairly priced and filling, especially the sausage and mash with chutney. It's a really welcoming, relaxing place.
Th’Owd Tithe Barn – GarstangGood food good beer outstanding decor and atmosphere all the best to Patrick and Julie Stuart and Trish
Cartford Inn – Great EcclestonFirst class food, really friendly staff, excellent night out. The staff never rush you and you can relax and take your time. Our favourite Chinese restaurant.
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolPipers is my favourite restaurant. We have been 3 times since it opened and the food and service get better each time. Ian's use of quality local produce, cooking and presentation cannot be beaten on the Fylde in my opinion. The restaurant is small and friendly as is the service. I can't wait to go again!
Pipers – Garstangi come here every week i even know all the staff!
Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolA good choice. Good quality food at a modest price. A wide choice that suits everyone from younger children to those who like a blue steak. Well worth a visit
