To say I am disappointed is an understatement, possibly the worst food I have eaten for a very long time. The brisket was so tough and definitely not cooked enough to make it tender as it should be , the ribs were tasteless and bland and the burger was average. The service was poor and had to go to the bar to ask if we could order a drink. The lady on the bar was lovely on arrival and the older guy that took the order was very knowledgeable but they are about the only positives I can give. Expensive for what it is.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfternoon Tea in style in the red library at Lytham Hall . We booked the Sunday lunch themed afternoon tea and the food was excellent, with a great selection of hot and cold items. Service from the volunteer staff was friendly and efficient. Absolutely loved the experience and will definitely book again. This is by far one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamSadly, this time it didn't live up to our expectations. Waited 25 mins for our drinks to arrive. Had to ask a member of staff where our drinks were. Ordered our food. We waited 1 hours 20 mins for it to be served to our table. Again I had to ask staff how long our food would be. To be fair, the staff were lovely, very helpful & apologetic. I did get a drink on the house to apologize for the wait. Cannot fault the food. It was very tasty. The slow service does need addressing though.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamThis is the best afternoon tea that my husband , friend and I have ever had . The selection of both savoury and sweet was absolutely sublime . We opted for the Gold standard ( glass of Prosecco ) with endless supply of tea with the pot topped up as often as we wanted . Some items were served warm which we have never had . This is the best place for the whole traditional afternoon tea experience for atmosphere, venue and the wonderful ladies who served us . The kitchen staff have produced a truly excellent tea and everything was delicious .
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamArrived at 5pm spoke to female in a red dress she said take a seat in the bar area we will call you ! Waited until 5-45 spoke to said female again who kept calling me sweetheart! She said oh no one been to grab you ! Er no! She then put us on a table that had been available since we arrived , we waited another 20 mins to order then the food finally arrived at 7pm an hour after ordering, all but one ordered steak no matter how you wanted them cooked they were all charred and hard on the outside and bloody in the middle we were asked once if ok but we’d waited that long we just got on with it and decided we’d not return staff a bit sullen
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfter trying another American style smokehouse recently and feeling underwhelmed, we heard good things about Henry's, so gave it a try. Wow portion sizes for my Beef long rib was huge! Must have been 30oz of beef for £19. Wife had baby back ribs which she enjoyed, we both commented on the fries, they are cut differently than normal and sprinkled with a tasty dust. I even tried an alcohol free beer from Barcelona and enjoyed it. Will deffo visit again.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamWe visited on the 5th April for my husbands birthday. The food and service was very good. The brisket is perfection. All the food was cooked perfectly and the staff were friendly and professional. Have already booked to take friends this month. Can't wait to go back. Much better than hickories by far!!!
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamVery friendly staff ,lovely food .but waiting times long just for drinks but would recommend
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamFabulous, a real treat. In fact I would say that the afternoon tea at Lilibet's was as good as going to Betty's in Yorkshire and it certainly had more atmostphere.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamGreat atmosphere and always lovely food. The staff are friendly but service was slow (considering it wasn't even a particularly busy day). The majority of staff are young and I think they may just need a little bit more training. Other than that, it's a lovely place to go for lunch and a catch up with friends.
The Courtyard – LythamFirst visit to Henry’s and it was first class. The Fylde Coast has needed a good BBQ restaurant like this and it certainly meets expectations. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. There is a fantastic selection of drinks and cocktails. The food was exceptional, generous portions and definitely value for money. My only slight issue was having a partner who is vegetarian, there was only really one option on the menu. Maybe one more Vegetarian choice would be welcome but overall a first class experience and will definitely be returning
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamPoor service, food not bad. Trying to be a Hickory’s and it’s not…go to Hickory’s instead costs a bit more but worth it for better service and food
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamExcellent meal at the courtyard and the best coffee in town. Lovely café with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff and you can take your dogs too! Highly recommend
The Courtyard – LythamLovely family dinner here on 2nd April89. Reasonably price tasty food and great service from friendly attentive staff. Nice surroundings and atmosphere too. Will definately come again when in the area.
The Clifton At Warton – FreckletonHad an absolutely wonderful day. The afternoon tea food was excellent and staff were fabulous. I booked afternoon tea for my best friend’s 60th birthday and she loved everything, food, staff and also thoroughly enjoyed the tour around the hall. The staff were so knowledgeable and attentive. Thank you all for such a lovely day
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamJust wanted to write and let you know how much we enjoyed our afternoon tea yesterday. The room is set out beautifully, the staff were extremely attentive and the food was lovely. Thank you for a lovely afternoon a real treat and a great tour of the hall afterwards.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWent for breakfast easter Sunday been before I had the vegetarian and my partner had the full English. I asked for no tomatoes or mushrooms but asked for an extra hash brown which was an extra £2.50 even thoughtwo items had been taken away. We then got the bill and was charged an extra £2.50 for the chef to scramble the eggs which it does not state on the menu is a charge and should mot take any longer. My vegetarian breakfast ended up costing an extra £5 compared to the menu price value for money it was not I am still annoyed at paying the extra money as the staff weren't bothered at all surely it's not right to charge extra money for someone to scramble your eggs as it's never happened before and does not state on the menu.
