we have visted several time and had our christmass meal there 2002. The food is outstanding, the presentation is outstanding, good selection of bottled drinks at the bar. I am getting hungry just thinking of the Mozzeralla wrapped in Parma Ham hmmm [LDT]
Pulcinella – Thornton-Cleveleystaken here by my wife as a birthday treat, from the outside and location do not do this restaurant justice. The interior is small but well presented with a small bridge and fish pond giving a nice relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was very atentive and happy to discuss items on the menu. The food was one of the best Thai`s I have eaten on the fylde coast, the hot dishes had a decent kick to them but not at the expense of drowning out the flavour of the more delicate ingredients, highly recomended [LDT]
Sabai Sabai Thai Restaurant – Blackpoolvery good food, full of flavour and very well presented. Visted with 5yr old daughter and they where happy to produce a childs portion of spagetti for her. Can be busy at weekends worth booking in advcance[ldt]
Mimmo’s Italian Restaurant – Thornton-Cleveleysproperly the best chinesse takeaway in thornton. food is always of the highest quality and they are happy to adjust dishes to your own personal taste. serves one of the best Hot and Sour soups I have tasted on the fylde coast, advisable to ring throuh order at weekends as it can get very busy [LDT]
China Lodge – Thornton-CleveleysThe Fillet Steak was so tender and tasty and with chips and peas a most enjoyable repast. The Prawn Cocktail to start was even better becaust it was free with a Gazette Offer

Cliffs Hotel – BlackpoolAs per usual enjoyed the Sweet and Sour King Prawns with fried Rice. The pot of China Tea just completes the meal. Must try one of the other tasty dishes
Peking Inn – St. Annes-On-SeaHave been a few times now and will keep going back. Food is always extremely good and service efficient and friendly, even when busy (which they often are) Possibly a tad more expensive than some other local places but still good value. Throughly recommended
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodThe choice on the carvery was good and on this evening it was Pork Turkey or Beef with all the trimmings served by a cheerful and friendly chef. Licqueur Coffee also enjoyed to the full
County Hotel – LythamThe chip shop pf the stars (signed pics on the wall of just scores of showbiz star and politician who've eaten there) It's been there since the 19th century. Probably the best chippy in the world. Don't miss their special: a taste of half a dozen different varieties of fish. Warning! When they say 'very large' (portions) they mean 'enormous'!
The Cottage – BlackpoolCan be very hit and miss and on occasion sauces are too strong and can affect pleasure of the food
East Ocean Chinese Takeaway – KirkhamThis venue has improved greatly and the menu is Extensive and a good evening was enjoyed by all. Try the Goosnargh Goose.
The Villa Country House Hotel – KirkhamExcellent starter of scallops and the scampi provencale was to die for. A return visit will be on the cards very soon.
Trafalgar Restaurant – FleetwoodAn excellent Fish Restaurant with a large selection of same. Scallops delicious and scampi Provencale out of this world. Repeat visit soon
