The Little Restaurant @ The Steamer – FleetwoodNot a restaurant really. Lunch served but have not experienced it. Wide selection of real ales and popular with residents and non residents alike. Even when very busy (as is frequent) very friendly.
The Taps – LythamMint.

Treasure City Chinese Restaurant – BlackpoolVaried menu and excellent service. Well presented. The seafood risotto and spring lamb, excellent! As was the warm tart of English Asparagus and parmesan cheese, followed by pan fried medallions of pork. Nice ambience, definitely will be re-visiting. Hopefully in the not too distant future!

Shard Riverside Inn – Poulton-Le-FyldeA loveley village pub with a great atmosphere and mostly homecooking. The landlady cooks most from scratch and the Roast Beef dinner was excellent. My wife had the Roast Turkey and a clean plate at the end. They have a good blackboard selection on the Sunday we went and it was busy with families. The real ales on offer are great aswell and they apparently change them every week. CAMRA pub.

Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysThis establishment is two distinct & separate eateries, The first is "Guys restaurant & pizzeria" This is an Italian restaurant, the pizzas are freshly made by "Christian" who makes the dough and throws the pizza in the air while you wait. prces £7.50 & £6.75 other dishes mainly Italien range from £6.50 to £15.95. I would say the wine list is "Expensive" The other eating place is "Owd Nells Tavern" this is more your upgraded pub grub. A good selection of real ales. A very varied selection on the menu would recommjend the Irish mussels, £4.10 loasds of cream. The "Home made" snake & Pigmy pudding appear home made although it could have done with a bit more gravy. £6.05 Other food available Lamb cutletsat £6.95. If you intend visiting at weekend be prepared to wait as it gets very, very busy especially when the sun shines. There is a table booking service in operation usaul wait 10/15mins & then about 15mins for your food. Large sun verandah if you only want to drink. A very very good day out. watch out for the kids though, as previously stated.
