Although I didn't eat in squires restaurant I did eat in the ballroom at a wedding. I thought the service was extremely good, and the food was of a high standard, both the main meal and the buffet. The hotel is a wonderful venue for any celebration, sophisticated and elegant!
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamExcellent meal at Tolleys Very impressive dining room,The chef is the boss which is always a good thing. Comfortable spacious bar.Plenty parking.
Ryecroft Hall – Poulton-Le-FyldeOUTSTANDING SERVICE YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET PLACE NOT TO BE MISSED. ANY PERSON THINKING OF SETTING IN IN THIS KIND OF BUSINESS MUST FIRST GO TO TWELVE BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE UP AGAINST.
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysLunch on the saver menu as per usual was up to standard. The minestrone soup is excellent and the pasta dish as tasty as ever. The staff as ever attentive and friendly
Portofino – LythamHad an excellent three-course meal last Friday night at The Villa. I have been in previous years but it has even improved on previously high standards. For starters the Duck confit simply fell off the bone; my main course of Seared Tuna was perfectly cooked - succulent and excellently presented - and the desert of Baileys Bread & Butter pudding finished off a top-notch meal in style. The young waitresses were attentive and polite, and the interior of The Villa is a fine choice for an intimate meal. Well maintained Jennings beers only added to the whole experience. Would definitely recommend it to others and will return again.
The Villa Country House Hotel – KirkhamI asked for a dish that wasn't too spicey; The pork and vegetables was recommended, with noodles, and was excellent. The Thai costumes of the waitresses were lovely. I'll go again
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaOnce again Jack's gave us a wonderful evening's pleasure, with outstanding food; but it is the ambiance that makes it so good. We had a good time and it wasn't so expensive.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaWe always enjoy our evening at Pulcinella - the food is more like Italian food in Italy rather than the English version that we often get in Italian restaurants locally. The panna cotta is delcicious.
Pulcinella – Thornton-CleveleysA selection of Thai starters, red thai curry, noodles, a bottle of vina Albina Rioja(no.11 on list) followed by a bottle of no.13 all at Banthai, now thats what I call a meal out!!
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaYou just can't beat Pizza Express for quality pizza in stylish surroundings! I didn't know Lytham had one till I saw it on Sugarvine.
Pizza Express – LythamWhat a delight! The service and food in this quaint Thai restaurant were amazing. There were 9 of us dining and we all enjoyed the experience tremendously. Definately worth a visit any night of the week.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaI?e been to Margheritas several times now. Each time I?e had the lunchtime special - 2 courses £5.75 or thereabouts. I have to say that I?e enjoyed every visit. The food is very different from the usual run-of-the-mill Italian. I presume that it is authentic Sicilian food, as the chef, Pasquale Real is from Palermo. OK I? not going to try and remember the exact names of all the dishes I?e tried but the most outstanding I?e had are the following - Spaghetti Bolognese: perfect pasta with a very tasty but light sauce, lovely texture and piping hot just as it should be served. Chicken in a white wine cream and mushroom sauce with rice (can? remember the Italian name): - Oh boy. This is just so beautifully rich, with chicken breast tender yet firm (is that possible), lashings of wonderful full bodied sauce which explodes with flavour and rice, again cooked to perfection; it actually feels like you?e eating something healthy. Rigatoni al Dialvo (I think): - the best Italian dish I ever had; firm chunks of pasta in a chilli sauce with hot salami and cream, words cannot describe the joy of eating this; I recommend garlic bread and plenty of parmesan. Lastly best starters - sounds corny but the garlic mushrooms in béchamel sauce are to die for and the prawns in chilli sauce divine if you can take the heat. The service is fantastic. Very laid back. Very helpful and friendly. No pushiness and you?e never ?old?anything. Wine reasonably priced and generally good stuff (excellent Chianti). You get the feeling you could sit all day and never be hassled. Good atmosphere! Good food! What more do you want? Recommend it to anyone who likes Italian food!
Margherita – St. Annes-On-SeaHave just had an excellent meal at Singleton Lodge. An impressive country hotel.Well worth a visit.
Singleton Lodge Country House Hotel – Poulton-Le-FyldeThe best Thai meal I've had in lovely surroundings, served by the ever smiling Joy in her authentic Thai costume!
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaConsistently excellent - both food, selections of wines and, most of all, service. Any restauranteur who remembers a fairly infrequent customers favourite coffee deserves the acclaim this quality dining exoerience deserves. The lunches in particular are amazing value for money!
Twelve – Thornton-CleveleysThe meal was enjoyable and the starter duck was tasty. The lamb very tender and a good selection of sweets. All in all a good evening out.
Greens Bistro – St. Annes-On-SeaThis must be one of the best kept secrets in Blackpool. The banquet was out of this world. As much as you can eat and the food was superb. try it you wont regret it.
