Unquestionably the best kebabs in the area. The meat is tender and succulent and a class apart from the boot leather served up at some other places. Plus it's always carved fresh in front of you. Cabbage and onions -- not all the other nonsesne that some places serve. And home-made chilli sauce which tastes like it shoud --achingly hot. I've been a customer since it opened 20 years ago. Accept no impostors!

Ship Inn – FreckletonI would highly recommend twelve to anyone. I would suggest saving your visit for a special occasion as it is quite pricey, but it is worth paying extra for top quality. The staff are friendly and the decor fantastic. Will definately be eating there again.

Dalmeny Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaDoner Kebabs have a reputation of only being edible when you are "over your legal limit", not so with Ahmet. I've been eating his kebabs for years now, drunk and sober, nobody compares!. Thanks for moving down to Lytham when you did.

Its very easy to forget you are in Poulton as the decoration and ambience are fantastic. Especially the rain forest toilets.To fully understand you must experience this wonderful restaurant. Having a after dinner drink out on the balcony just ends the night perfectly.

The Haven Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaRick Stein was definitely not wrong about this place. We've become weekly regulars ! The haddock is really fresh, and the chips are always done to perfection. The seasonal events (mulled wine, etc) are also a lovely gesture.
Whelans – LythamExcellant quality fish with light crispy batter. Good choice of fish and other dishes including desserts. Fast and friendly service in a very pleasant dining room.
St Annes Fish Restaurant – St. Annes-On-Seasandwich plus is the best sandwich shop in the world the staff are the prettiest and freindliest by far the food is fresh and very tasty an well worth a visit , daily specials, good home cooking and super soups
Hungry Monkey – St. Annes-On-SeaI was a little upset when this place appeared, because my parents actually first met here when it was 'The Capri Grill' (how sentimentally silly of me) . I'm told it was a "trendy" coffee bar back in those days; the place to be ..... Fortunately I overcame my reservations only to find that the food is excellent; I can highly recommend their takeaway banquets for two. The staff are extremely attentive/polite, and thankfully the decor is a far cry from "The good old days". The bonus is that my parents now have a have a place to celebrate in style !
