Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamPleasant surroundings and friendly atmosphere. Good menu choice to suit all tastes. Presentation and quality of food was excellent, not even the power cut spoilt the evening.
Thyme – PoultonFrom booking right through to the last mouthful of tea, nothing was too much for the staff at Lytham Hall. Entering the dining room at Lilibert's is like stepping back in time with the setting, the music and the frilly aproned waitresses. You immediately sense you are in for a treat and we were not disappointed. I'm gluten intolerant which I was told was no problem and it didn't seem to be at all. I had my own tier of cakes, gluten free mini Yorkshire pud & extra sandwiches to compensate for the missing quiche. The gluten free scone is also worthy of a mention, the best I've ever had. The waiting staff were attentive but not obtrusive, keeping plates cleared and drinks topped up, even offering to take photos for us. At no point did we feel rushed. Thank you Lytham Hall for a memorable afternoon which we would recommend.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamHad a fabulous afternoon tea last Sunday. Lovely choice of food, just the right balance of savoury and sweet. The lady serving us was lovely. Would highly recommend it. 5* all around.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamAn excellent afternoon spent in luxurious surroundings. The staff were very attentive explaining what each dish was on all 3 tiers plus the addition of a freshly baked fruit scone that was gently warming in the oven whilst we had our savoury dishes. Coffee cups were regularly refilled with freshly brewed coffee and one of our party was a vegetarian and adequately catered for. Without doubt the beat Afternoon Tea that we've experienced.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamVery enjoyable afternoon. Good food, good service. Everything done with style to give that country house feeling. We'll be back. Taking the tour beforehand adds to the event and makes it very good value for money. Gives yourselves at least 90 mins to take it all in without rushing round.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamMy sister and I had a lovely afternoon earlier this week. Afternoon tea and then a hall tour. The service and friendliness of all the staff could not have been better. We enjoyed the afternoon tea too, of course, which was delicious. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamVisited Lytham Hall for afternoon tea with my Mother, the whole experience from start to finish was absolutely spot-on would highly recommend.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – Lythamenjoyed afternoon tea; the staff were very helpful and would go again
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamTo say I am disappointed is an understatement, possibly the worst food I have eaten for a very long time. The brisket was so tough and definitely not cooked enough to make it tender as it should be , the ribs were tasteless and bland and the burger was average. The service was poor and had to go to the bar to ask if we could order a drink. The lady on the bar was lovely on arrival and the older guy that took the order was very knowledgeable but they are about the only positives I can give. Expensive for what it is.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfternoon Tea in style in the red library at Lytham Hall . We booked the Sunday lunch themed afternoon tea and the food was excellent, with a great selection of hot and cold items. Service from the volunteer staff was friendly and efficient. Absolutely loved the experience and will definitely book again. This is by far one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had.
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamSadly, this time it didn't live up to our expectations. Waited 25 mins for our drinks to arrive. Had to ask a member of staff where our drinks were. Ordered our food. We waited 1 hours 20 mins for it to be served to our table. Again I had to ask staff how long our food would be. To be fair, the staff were lovely, very helpful & apologetic. I did get a drink on the house to apologize for the wait. Cannot fault the food. It was very tasty. The slow service does need addressing though.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamThis is the best afternoon tea that my husband , friend and I have ever had . The selection of both savoury and sweet was absolutely sublime . We opted for the Gold standard ( glass of Prosecco ) with endless supply of tea with the pot topped up as often as we wanted . Some items were served warm which we have never had . This is the best place for the whole traditional afternoon tea experience for atmosphere, venue and the wonderful ladies who served us . The kitchen staff have produced a truly excellent tea and everything was delicious .
Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamArrived at 5pm spoke to female in a red dress she said take a seat in the bar area we will call you ! Waited until 5-45 spoke to said female again who kept calling me sweetheart! She said oh no one been to grab you ! Er no! She then put us on a table that had been available since we arrived , we waited another 20 mins to order then the food finally arrived at 7pm an hour after ordering, all but one ordered steak no matter how you wanted them cooked they were all charred and hard on the outside and bloody in the middle we were asked once if ok but we’d waited that long we just got on with it and decided we’d not return staff a bit sullen
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamAfter trying another American style smokehouse recently and feeling underwhelmed, we heard good things about Henry's, so gave it a try. Wow portion sizes for my Beef long rib was huge! Must have been 30oz of beef for £19. Wife had baby back ribs which she enjoyed, we both commented on the fries, they are cut differently than normal and sprinkled with a tasty dust. I even tried an alcohol free beer from Barcelona and enjoyed it. Will deffo visit again.
Henry’s Smokehouse – KirkhamWe visited on the 5th April for my husbands birthday. The food and service was very good. The brisket is perfection. All the food was cooked perfectly and the staff were friendly and professional. Have already booked to take friends this month. Can't wait to go back. Much better than hickories by far!!!
