This was the third time visiting Steak and Cherry, each time we have had excellent service, great food in a nice environment. They accommodated us even when arriving with more than what we booked. Fast friendly service with a smile, hassle free. Excellent range of food,

Really good. The food is genuinely great value for money in these inflationary times and the service was great - every member of staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating, without being 'too much'. The pair of us really enjoyed the food - if you get any dish with the chips (I got the Philly Cheese Steak baguette) - those chips are SO nice and definitely not from frozen! They do add a 10% service charge to your bill, but the waiter that brought the bill made it very clear when he handed the bill to me that this was on there, and was entirely discretionary, which many restaurants don't do, in recent experience. Excellent value, cosy decor, very clean place, timely service for a pre-theatre meal and great service - I'll definitely be back.

Asked for a medium rare steak - way over cooked!

What a great place, first time in the restuarant and definatley wont be the last. Food was fantastic, came out at a GREAT pace, not to fast and not to quick. The atmopsphere was really good, Cocktails were the best ive had in a while.

The food was very nice and good value for the price. Our waiter was both knowledgeable and helpful when it came to menu options. The restaurant is only a five minute walk from the Theatre Royal. Would definately recommend The Steak and Cherry.

Disappointed with the quality of the food.

Always a delight. This is a fab restaurant close to The King's Theatre. Food is always absolutely delicious with some firm favourites and also specials. Staff are always friendly and fun. Nothing is too much trouble. Always a fabulous experience.

Our first visit : Fantastic food that is well prepared and decent prices . There is a service charge of 10% that they are ok with you not paying however everything was spot on and we had no issue with this , just hope that this money goes to the staff. The Bang Bang chicken is amazing best ever We will defo be back

Went here on wowcher deal and had a lovely meal. Nothing fancy on the menu but still a good choice. Our food was freshly cooked, really tasty and portions were good too. It was quiet so hard to gauge atmosphere but surroundings are all nice. Very nice friendly and efficient service so will def go back some time

Fabulous two course Sunday roast meal with cocktail. Group of 4 using Groupon vouchers we received for Christmas. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Booked online and quickly confirmed by email. Pre theatre meal so restaurant quiet. Very comfortable booths. Food ordered and drinks arrived quickly. Starter Haggis and Main ribeye steak. Both were delicious. Staff friendly and chatty. Would recommend and we will be back.

Went here on Saturday as a group of 8 for a meal before heading to the theatre. Food was excellent and great choice. Staff were excellent and friendly. Only thing was we waited a while to get out first drinks ordered and also they took a good while to come but overall had a good night

12 people celebrating my 25year office anniversary & was an amazing night. Picked the venue because of the reviews & it didnt disappoint. The food was 10/10 & the staff were super attentive. Def be back & def recommend.

Had a lovely evening at Steak & Cherry. Our host couldn’t have been any more helpful. He was involved from start to finish and although he found himself a little thrown with my wowcher voucher he had no clue was out, he made sure we both had what we came for and we left very happy! Food was incredible - Nachos to share & x2 M/R Ribeye and chips! Cocktails were delicious also - pain killer and pina colada. Service 10/10 Oh and the atmosphere was very pleasant and calm. Definitely returning
