The usual warm welcome and value meal for those of us with small appetites. I had the pie and chips. The chips were disappointing and tasted like they had been warmed up. There was no problem changing my peas to mushy peas. I ordered rum baba as a a dessert. These were very dry and hadn’t been soaked long enough. After mentioning it to our waitress , the item was removed from the bill with no quibbles. The orange sticky sauce was delicious. My wife had the daily roast which was excellent. This will not put us off from returning.

I have had two meals at this pub and can honestly say that they were the worst i have ever had. The first time i had was the the mediteraean cod which the potion was so small that even a child would have been left hungry. The second time i had a hawaiian buger which was cremated beyond belief. The pubs attitude seemed to pay lip service i there was no change. There are plenty of other pubs to go to so i will be taking my custom elsewhere. NOT reccommend at all.

Good food and atmosphere but could not believe it when the staff started hoovering and crashing about clearing the carvery away at 9PM Completely ruined evening, I will not be returning

been going to the cottage for take aways for i don't know how long even my son in law comes up from Hampshire ,all ways wants to go there for his madras ,best ever ,all pleasant wont stop going ,and we live just around the corner . Why go else where xx

This place is unbeatable on all aspects of Indian cooking from tandoori to curry. I promise you will not be disappointed. Think all the staff are on happy pills as they are always keen and willing to satisfy your requirements

Probably the best curry house in Teesside Friendly staff and a wonderful selection of Indian food cooked to your taste. A must night out for any curry lover

I have travelled far and wide and have yet to find food to match the cottage. Also i have never come across such friendly staff. A must for all curry lovers of all heat types
