Cinnamon Indian Restaurant – Waterloovilleexcellent restaurant good food and excellent service
De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel – SouthamptonBe warned - reformed chicken is used in most of the dishes. very overpriced and poor service!
Kutis Brasserie – SouthamptonEvery time we eat at this restaurant the staff are always attentive and efficient and the food excellent. We are never disappointed.
Bombay Night – New MiltonI would recommend Christina's to everyone,Friendly staff, and the food was delicious with very large portions and excellent value for money. my son said he can't wait to go back.
Christina’s Restaurant – SouthamptonHmm, the worst meal of my life. Being a vegetarian I am used to accepting 3rd rate stuff but this place took the biscuit. I went on a Sunday with my family and asked for the advertised vegetarian Sunday main course option, expecting a nut-roast or pasta something. No, I got one Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots and grayc, which took about two minutes to eat. Basically, this was just the stuff that the meat eaters got but without the meat. Thoughtlessly and borishly they had thought, 'ah let's do a vege option - just charge them the same price and give them the vegetables without a main course'! Brilliant. Absolutely pathetic. Also, the place was awash with screaming children running about, there is a climbing frame in the corner of the 'restaurant' from which ear-piercing screams come now and again. Don't bother with this place, just go to McDonalds.
Brewers Fayre – Andoverabsolutely fantastic food .good value for money
Christina’s Restaurant – SouthamptonTitchfield is the perfect setting for this country pub. With historic surroundings this family run pub has all you would expect from a village pub. Its open fires, wooden beams, historical photos and comfortable décor give it a very welcoming atmosphere. The bar has a good selection of real ales and an extensive bar menu. There is also a weekly meat raffle, lottery and quiz night. The restaurant has a menu full of traditional home made English meals prepared with locally produced ingredients. To finish it off there is the Braganza room, which is available for any type of function.
The Queens Head – FarehamThis place has gone to the dogs; used to be great, but the latest set of owners have taken it downhill. Food was cold, orders mixed up and atmosphere like a morgue - avoid!
The George Inn – WaterloovilleFantastic food, great prices and a very quick service. Lamb shish and kofte kebab, as well as their half pound messy burger, THOROUGHLY recommended. I LOVE 'EM!! Just go there and I promise you won't be disappointed.
Dersim Pizza and Kebab – SouthamptonAbsolutely brilliant restaurant. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Felt like royalty from the minute I entered until the minute I left.
Cove Tandoori – FarnboroughWow , possibly the best Indian Restaurant I have encountered!Have sampled many of the Indian restaurants in southsea and this has to be one of the best. Staff are friendly , excellent atmosphere and also the food is amazing!!Prices are also reasonable!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Kadir’s Indian Street Kitchen – SouthseaWe always come her for great value tex mex, they have generous portions and the garlick bread is fantastic. The bright Americana decor lends itself to a great atmosphere.
Buffalo Bills Restaurant – SouthamptonAfter late night Christmas shopping and feeling very hungry we came across Panda Chinese Restaurant, 20-21 Bedford Place, Southampton. Very disappointing meal!! My wife ordered 'crispy chow mein' which was a mixed meat dish. The crispy noodles were the only 'slightly edible' part! Meat was poor quality and in a tasteless jelly like sauce. I ordered a chicken with cashews dish which actually had the same sauce as my wifes! My wife told the waitress/manager that she couldn't eat it and would appreciate it being taken off my bill. She refused, even after I stated our rights as the customer! £30 down later and still with an empty stomach, we left..........unhappy customers, wouldn't return or recommend it!!!!
Panda Chinese Restaurant – SouthamptonFantastic value for money, friendly, efficient & very 'french' service and a lovely Wine Bar (also belonging to Truffles) located next door where had our pre-dinner drinks and then brandy's afterwards! Fabulous all round, a definite must.......
Truffles – Southseatook my wife to miguels last week the first time for both of us in a Spanish restaurant ,what a load of rubbish it was, apple pie and cream ,bread and butter pudding ,English fish haha not Spanish,it would help if you are Spanish, as the Spanish people got good service, the English did not, miguels is an overblown cafe
Caffexpresso – SouthamptonWhat a shame! I ate here regularly when I was a trainee medic some 20 odd years ago. It is so disappointing to find that this restaurant, which used to be so welcoming and exciting is now so depressing. I ate their alone tonight having found myself on business in the area and was the only customer for the duration of my visit. The service was surly and uninterested, despite my attempted conversation. The food was, sadly mediocre in the extreme.
Natee Tip Thai Restaurant – Gosportwent to visit friends in lymington, popped in to lanes of lymington for a early dinner before going out, was about 6 45. was greeted by a lovely lady called Nicola who and her husband run this establishment, i had scallops which were very lovely cooked and moist followed by duck breast which was so succulent it was amazing and the way the food was presented it was fantastic. sorry was too full to try the sweets but by looking at the list was very good and all the ice creams are i believe home made m just wished i had more space to try them but really enjoyed the food , service and was not badly priced at all . so to the proprietors i take my hat off to you both was a very pleasant meal and thanks again really enjoyed it very much, and hope to be back that way soon
