The Woodvale Hotel is a very nice establishment. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food has been very good, on each occasion we have been. The menu is also flexible, you could add extras which aren't listed under that meal, whereas other restaurants will serve only what the menu says. Prices for food were good, and on the whole, a very enjoyable and relaxing place to be.

After coming to the Isle of Wight for over 30 years, The Old Fort must have been the absolute worst meal we have ever had on the Island. We waited for over half an hour for 2 Sausage and Chips, and a Tuna Baguette. Me and my son couldn't even bring ourselves to eat the sausage, as it looked completely uncooked. We will definitely never go back there, as we fear receiving food poisoning from the disgustingly prepared food. If you can even call it that. We expected more from an establishment in Seaview, but we were proven wrong. I hope others will take this into consideration, and avoid it at all costs.

on the 13th of august i made the biggest mistake of my life by recommending 6 of my closest friends for a meal at your restaurant. 3 weeks later they are all still in hospital shitting blood,(and you should be shitting bricks) a letter from my solicitor Mr Nickolas Hannides should have found your door mat by know n legal proceedings following very shortly. many thanks,

don't go there food is shit(cook from frozen) very expensive service is crap and 0.33 beer is 3.30£ I had tiger prawns for 14.50£ on 30.08.08 and that was the worst dish i ever eat(cook from frozen and arrived cold with iceberg lettuce???? they can't even do chips properly9 (reheated and soggy)

Fab meal as always. Best Italian food outside of Italy. Pizza's are fantastic and authentic, puddings are wonderful. Beautiful little restaurant set in Shanklin Old Town. Ensure you book and ask for a downstairs table.

Very comprehensive and reasonably priced menu. We had one of the best Indian meals I can remember. Started with Quail and samosas then two chicken curries between us a passanda and kasmiri with basmati rice and pashwari naans. Absolutely delicious and all testing very fresh and vibrant. The house white wine was fine. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. We will go there again.

Booked the restaurant for a friends bday, was a bit apprehensive as had never been before but was recommended by a friend. Really glad I booked it as the service was very friendly and we all enjoyed the food, they even gave us a free dessert! They make the best cocktails and really made sure we had a good time. Would definitely go back for more!

I frequently use this restaurant, as both a restaurant and a local pub. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious. I recommend the Fish and chips.

we all go fairly often, always have a brilliant time, very friendly, inexpensive, large portions for those who like large portions, excellent value for money. We have a 20 minute journey to get there but call it "our local".

Friendly atmosphere, good service and a nice variety of food on offer. Food was very good and the waffles they serve throughout the day are fantastic. We visited for a pub lunch whilst visiting the new forest. It is well situated for visitors to the area, and I also noticed they do live music as well!
