William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateThis a really good brasserie with very good food and stylish service. My Salmon was a brave dish indeed, but executed perfectly, with authentic tasting home made naan bread! My partners Chicken was equally stunning. 2 decent puds and a great bottle of Merlot rounded off a lovely evening.....but wheres the coffee machine? I was denied my fix of espresso! Somebody buy them one!!
The Tannin Level – HarrogateNice food but took an age to take the order - almost an hour!
Sasso – HarrogateWent to The Tannin Level last night and I was very surprised! The food was perfect and the wine list exceptional. I will be frequenting the restaurant now as its recently become a new entry into my top 10 places to eat in the country! The staff are great too, particularly Victoria. Every restaurant needs a front of house like her.
The Tannin Level – HarrogateWhen are Doctors going to prove that eating F&C is good for your health? Could VERY happily eat at Graveleys 247 :-)
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogatePuts other Fish and Chip restaurants to shame - the taste? Simply beautiful :-)
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateAbsolutely the place to eat for first class cooking and service. Fine ales, excellent value for money. A great welcome and very friendly host and staff.
The Station Hotel – HarrogateWe stumbled across the Old Station Inn by chance on a Sunday afternoon, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this little quiet village pub in Birstwith. We were made to feel welcome and were immediately hit by the aroma of a good Sunday roast. It tasted as good as it smelt. The services was warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I was driving and was pleasantly introduced to a Rick's special non alcoholic drink, which was pleasantly refreshing instead of the usual sweet lime and lemonades i drink. We even had enough room for a sticky toffee pudding which was homemade and divine. We will certainly keep this as a favourite trip out and dine. Well worth the journey. I must remember to thank my co driver that got us lost in the first place.
The Station Hotel – HarrogateThat place is so bloody tasty, when I worked in Harrogate, I had no money and weighed two stone more than I do now becuase I went there every day for Lunch! Have some methadone ready for when you need to come off the high from that place, it's incredible
Orchid Restaurant – HarrogateThe Drum and Monkey is certainly one of the best restaurants in Harrogate and probably Yorkshire. Fantastic atmosphere and outstanding food! The staff are friendly and cheerful and it’s always an enjoyable visit for either lunch or dinner. I’d recommend the Queen Scallops and the Seafood Pie is the best I’ve found anywhere. Well worth a visit... or two!
Drum and Monkey – HarrogateMidweek lunch. I thought that it would be quiet but it was 75% full. Mainly Harrogate women who lunch. Four of them on the table nearest to us spent the entire meal trying to 'out brag' each other. Hyacinth Bouquet medals all round! The food, service and surroundings are first class. Using our 2-4-1 High life card made it even better. Give it a try...you won't be disappointed.
Clocktower Restaurant at Rudding Park Hotel – HarrogateGraveleys in Harrogate serve the best and I mean the BEST fish and chips in the UK. The batter in just right and the chips are just 100%...there is no oil, no skin on the fish, no bones....many fish n chip owners should visit Graveleys..It is how they should be. I travel from London twice a year for biz and always go there...and if I am even up Leeds way or coming down the A1..Graveleys the place for me...Give a try you will be glad you did.
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateThe best thing I have ever eaten in my life was a beautiful king prawns in garlic sauce. I recommend it everyone who likes sea fruit! And the wine was excellent, it was Masottina. I always drink this one.
Olleys – HarrogateTook advantage of the Sunday / early bird deal thing, Mushrooms for Starter for both of us - Steak & Burger as the main course choices, very nice - good value for money - pretty waitress always a plus - Kids meals were nice and great value..
Cattlemens Association – HarrogateExcellent on every occasion we have visited whether we have been as a couple or in a group we have been made to feel relaxed and very welcome the food is excellently cooked and presented well done to Dominic and his staff Simon and Carol
Le D2 – HarrogateI have eaten here twice recently : the first time on New Year's Eve 2006 when we had a memorable night out with fantastic food and then last week when it was my birthday Again the food was excellent -authentic ,home -made style sauces to accompany the tortellini and a reasonably good wine list. The owner was present and was everything a host should be Our initial table was a bit too near the door for comfort but he switched us immediately I complained. Good value and highly recommended but you have to book well in advance to be sure of a table at the weekend
Sasso – HarrogateWilliam & Victoria serves generous portions and is extremely good value for money. I love the Wine Bar downstairs - the halibut steak I had was superb. I would also recommend the pork with crispy crackling. The staff at Will & Vics are very accommodating and I love the busy atmosphere. Popular with the locals!
William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateThis place is a delight, the food delicious, and the surroundings full of whimsical interest and dreadful puns. The staff serving us were equally inviting and it felt like I was eating at an eccentric friend's house.
