The Empress – HarrogateAbsolutely superb food especially the home made chips.
The Worlds End – HarrogateLovely food & huge portions!
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateMy husband had the Thai fishcake to start followed by the Steak pie which he enjoyed. I had the garlic chicken. I thought it lacked garlic and the spinach and potato it was placed on was rather burnt with an acrid taste, disappointing to say the least.
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogatePros- 6 of us had main meals here 1/6/24 3 had desert. All thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the portions were great and vfm was about average. Cons- a wedding was taking place so it was quite busy with people walking past us constantly setting up the buffet upstairs, the dj propped the door open while bringing in all her equipment which made 2 of our party quite cold, there was a dog in the bar which was fine apart from it barking a lot and no effort to move it or get it to quiet down. The worst thing was though, after we had all finished our meals our empty plates were not cleared for at least an hour, half were cleared when the deserts arrived and the rest only cleared when the desert dishes taken away.
The Empress – HarrogateGreat food, well cooked and generous portions. The calves liver was cooked to perfection and he steak and ale pie on top form as usual. We will no doubt be back over the summer when the next birthday is due
The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateOn a very busy Sunday afternoon, we visited the world’s end for a late lunch. Even though it was very busy, the staff were absolutely fantastic very professional working very hard to serve everyone. We were advised we might need to wait 30 minutes for food, but actually it came within 15 minutes. Good quality pub food on a sunny Sunday afternoon

The Royal Oak Staveley – HarrogateHad a lovely meal at the Royal Oak last Friday 10th May. We were looking for good food reasonably priced and this certainly met our expectations. We were told that one of the main courses took a little longer to cook so we knew not to expect our meals pronto, great as all freshly prepared. Will definitely visit again.
