Went before visiting local cinema Top class Italian food and very friendly service. very reasonable and good value. A bit quiet as it was early doors but starting to fill up as we left.

A superb restaurant with a really good varied menu, service, food and wine very good value for money

I have been there many times, and love it. It is a great place for all the family to enjoy a fine dining with kind people and great waiters. The food is truly delicious, a real Italian dish, and the service is very quick so you won't be waiting ages! It may seem like just any old restaurant at first glance, but is isn't. It is a beautiful place to escape to Italy, right here in Leeds and if you don't go you WILL regret it.

Words cannot describe how amazing my mouth felt when I first tried the tuna salad and cheese panini. I shall be returning again soon.

Menu was the same as last time...nothing interesting - no sign of any chicken on the menu cooked in a spicy sauce or something exciting which was what we both fancied - I ended up opting for the pizza but found the toppings to be too small - first time I've had a pizza without a tomato base - maybe i picked a wierd one though...the bill wasn't cheap but the food was average. - it will be Viva Cuba Kirstall next time which we find is good valaue for money with lots of choice.

Came as a group of 11 - counter service rather than table, but they managed to get all our food to come out at the same time. The blue cheese and bacon burger was delicious, as were the cajun fries. Will definitely be back to try the other burgers.

Great food after a night out or for a quick tasty tea when U can't be bothered cooking!

Me, my husband and three young children dined here last night 8/6/2012. The staff were friendly and couldnt do enough for us, service was fast considering how busy it was.Food was best we have ever tasted.I would recommend this place again and again.Perfect for families,couples etc thanks guys!!!!

I have been to this cafe before and found the service and food to be very lovely indeed. I went again yesterday and was appalled. The cafe was almost empty and we went to sit be the window. We were then asked if there were only two of us and on comfirmation that there was we were then asked to sit by the door. This is a place I would happily have chosen in a busy cafe but,there was no need to sit there and one of us would have been uncomfortable - it was almost like being asked to sit outside! We were then told we could actually sit by the window if we liked!!!! We sat by the window and then chose to leave and went and ate in a lovely cafe where we could sit where we chose to. I was terribly disappointed that i was unable to eat in the cafe of my first choice but will not choose to eat there again.

Why why why did they feel the need to 'fix' something that clearly wasn't broken!! We went to Salvos on a whim last Sunday afternoon. The fact that they could accommodate us at short notice should have been a warning! The refurbishment seems to have left them with less space than before and has more of a cafe/ canteen feel than a warm, welcoming restaurant. The menu seems to be have been reduced somewhat as well. As neither of us were inspired to try anything else, we shared a couple of pizzas, which took longer to arrive than seemed acceptable given how quiet it was. They were very, very good pizzas I am happy to say but still left us thinking that for a very good pizza there are plenty of other places closer to home that we could go to. Shame really.

If you are in Leeds please try and visit Giorgio's. Food is great, as are everyone who works there

The worst restaurant I have ever come across in my life. We was a family of 4 we ordered a paella to share for 2 person along side 6 tapas we had to wait 45 mins for the food. When we received our food the paella was hot as in very spicy and tasted bad. I'm Spanish and know exactly how paellas are meant to taste and this was far from nice (terrible) some tapas were OK again nothing special. They also gave me another paella but this time as tapas one but exactly the same paella hot spicy which tasted rubbish. Spanish omelette had no taste what so ever not to mention a fish dish wasn't even cooked the fish was raw. When it came to paying the bill I could believe the bill it came to £40 we didn't eat anything apart from 4 tapas and we had to pay this amount I couldn't believe my eyes. We then went back to complain as we had been ripped off there's no way we should be paying that much when we havent eaten hardly anything. Neway to cut the long story short we spoke to the chef and he got extremely angry and aggressive with us I could believe this man we said to him that paella too hot/spicy he turned around to say it isn't he put his hand inside the paella picked it with his fingers saying it wasn't hot in front of our faces at the bar not to mention where the customers were all eating. He was extremely bad mannered he didn't listen to us he spoke very rudely and aggressive. I also told him about the raw fish he says its meant to have that texture that's utter rubbish he didn't have the time and probably did it on purpose to annoy us more so, as we complained. I feel this restuarant is a complete joke theres hardly any staff, one waitress one chef and one extra staff running that buisness the chefs italian who clearly doesnt know how to cook its a real disgrace I want to warn anyone who thinks about going to think twice, the foods dreadful service is appauling. I love la tasca that place walks the floor with los amigos and its even less money that place is value for money and customer service is excellent.

Went there last night, food was superb custom was stupendous, not a bad thing to say about the place. Definitely recommend the weeping tiger, you wouldn't think it possible to make a humble steak taste so divine. Definitely going back soon as well as pushing it on all my friends and family. You will not be disappointed go and don't think twice!

the food there are really great and like the Indian dish washer guy. he is cute.

I can not rate this place enough, it is the best restaurant in Leeds in my opinion. From the decor of the place very modern and inviting to the amazing friendly staff who always have a warm friendly welcome no matter how busy they are no matter what background you're from ( I'm a sea croft lad who wears casuals and isn't always the best turned out ) and the food there is amazing I normally have calamari start followed by penne pasta with pepperoni smoked bacon onion chilli tomato sauce which is fantastic but I have had the chicken with mushrooms and White wine cream sauce and the fillet steak and chips both amazing. Sol the head waiter is funny friendly and the waiting staff are brilliant it is just fantastic please to go try it you won't be disappointed 10 out of 10 every time.

Dare cafe is fantastic. It has excellent food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I had my hen do here and the staff were so accommodating and attentive throughout the night. We loved it. I am a regular here and always come away feeling extremely satisfied. Absolutely love the 4 course option, go for it everytime. My friends from Liverpool always ask to go here when they are in Leeds as they love it so much. Highly recommend it..
