Excellent lunch time venue for family meal. Excellent portions, good value and friendly atmosphere.
Di Vino – HeadingleyQuite frankly the worse restaurant i have ever been in. Cold once we walked in which should have been a sign. Place empty but terrible service. Food was awful no other word for it, tasted like it had been micro waved. All dishes were poor and the prices were extortionate-£30 per head and i left feeling hungry. Visit at your peril.
Dos Amigos – HeadingleyVery good food and lovely place - much improved restaurant than previous owners- have to point out that the service was immaculate - friendly ,funny and efficient waiters who are so quick and give you so much attention - excited for next visit.
Brilliant service and food! Me and a couple of friends visited Giorgio's on a Saturday night and the place was packed but the service and food were amazing! I had zucchine for starter which were very crispy and light, then i had a Piccante pizza which was great. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was really good. Visiting again very soon. A+
Very good!
Jafran – HeadingleyCrisp, trendy, and brightly coloured -the place is delightful - very good food and excellent staff - we all had a top night Loved the steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy light zucchine! mmmm! will be visiting again very soon!
I recently visited Gusto in Cookridge with a few friends and was very impressed. A warm welcome, friendly, competent staff and a great atmosphere. We sat under the olive tree in the centre of the restaurant and were able to watch the pizza chef at work. Our pizzas and steaks were delicious, as were the cocktails we ordered from the bar. We all had a very enjoyable evening and have been recommending Gusto to our friends ever since!
Gusto – HeadingleyThis is an amazing place, the food is really good value and tastes great, there is so much choice too. The staff go out of there way to do anything for you and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have an upstairs aswell and cater for large bookings and you can also hire the bar down stairs. All in all a great place which i will be visiting again!
Dare Cafe – HeadingleyCame her in a party of eleven, which might explain why the service was as slow as it was - it took half an hour to get seated (with a reservation) and each course took a very long time. That said, the food was well worth the wait. My caprese salad and pancetta-wrapped partridge on blue cheese risotto were delicious, while my friends raved about the fish dishes and one stated the pizza was as good as those she had had in Italy. Will be returning, but in a smaller group!
Gusto – HeadingleyGood, informal atmosphere. Busy for a Monday night but no pressure on us to keep moving. Food is tasty and nicely presented and most importantly for me, the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable in accommodating my vegan diet.
Jinos Thai Cafe – HeadingleyGreat service and even better food - this place oozes class and is a great addition to the already high standard of restaurants in Headingley. I ate on the off chance of passing by and was very impressed. Trendy, sexy and a perfect place to go on a special occasion or everyday! A+++ :)
This is by far the best Thai food I have had in Leeds! I am so glad I found it - I will be going back again and again! Very reasonably prices too. Highly recommended.
Jinos Thai Cafe – HeadingleyVisited Giorgio's on a Wednesday night and the place was packed to the rafters, but the food and service was of the highest quality! Very attentive and knowledgeable staff - You can tell everyone at Giorgio's have been specially selected! Great value and I
Sadly I would no longer recommend this restaurant. I have been three times and the food has always been good. However last time I visited the waiter was unhelpful and at times rude - he succeeded in making the whole table feel uncomfortable. He got the food order wrong, dropped wine glasses on the table while setting them out and poured more wine on the table than in our glasses. It ruined the whole experience and I will not now be returning. A shame
Extremely good food, reasonably priced and a friendly owner. Never had a bad experience at the Sheesh Mahal. 5/5
Sheesh Mahal – HeadingleyWent here yesterday 7pm and well disappointed! Food was lovely but the waiter totally ruined the experience and ambience of the place. Twice we were brought the wrong dishes and drinks and when we politely said he tutted and stormed off. Id already had a bit of one of the dishes that wasn't ours as i hadn't noticed at first, brought this up and he simply took the dish to another table, one pork rib missing! Disgraceful.. What a shame as this is a lovely restaurant.
Dos Amigos – HeadingleyOwned by George the Greek who has the Olive Tree's this new Italian is very popular with well heeled clientele. I have visited twice now on mid week nights & it has always been packed. Not the cheapest Italian around as there are few pasta dishes & more meat & fish dishes to chose from. Excellent service which feels very genuine lovely desserts & a free Limoncello if you're lucky!
Another excellent meal at Giorgio's. Friendly staff and service just right - not too intrusive. Fast becoming a favourite.
