Chilli Lounge – HuddersfieldEvery time I have been I have hoped that it might have improved but so far it hasn't. Badly cooked food that has been left under a hotplate lamp for too long and dried out. The bar staff are yonderly to say the least.
Foxglove – HuddersfieldThe Scape House Inn was absolutely an unforgettable experience. The food was spot on and the selection of real ales were second to none!!! My wife and I stayed the night and had the benefit of an en suite room.......we would recommend it to anyone.
Scape House Inn, The – Huddersfieldi went to chilli lounge and it was my best indian food experience!i like hot food and i try naga tarkari which was just perfect for me.i cant recommend this restaurant enough
Chilli Lounge – Huddersfieldwent here the other Sunday, we were out for a drive and decided to stop as it looked really nice from outside, inside was just as nice, and the food was lovely, my partner had the roast beef and the size and thickness was great and was still very tender. very well cooked, i tried the potted crab and then meatballs which were both great .the service was very good and the background music just made it a nice pleasant place to eat, will be going back again.
New Inn – Huddersfieldthey have a poor service and they food all taste the same gravey taste.need to clean then self up.
Nawaab – HuddersfieldEver since its opened i've been going to Voda Bar & Kitchen every week, the food is great but inexpensive, drinks are cheap and they've even started doing my favorite beer Lindeboom! (only in bottles though). i have decided to book my 28th Birthday there early next year as they have a fantastic private bar downstairs. If you want good food at a good price i would certainly recommend this place to anyone!!
Voda Lounge – HuddersfieldAte last night at Voda Bar and kitchen and really enjoyed it. Its a fairly new place with new owners. The atmosphere is awesome and must have cost them a small fortune to fit out! Food was English bistro style with a wide choice of snacks and meals, its good to know i could just pop in there after work for a quick drink and a snack. Well worth a visit.
Voda Lounge – HuddersfieldThe food is plentiful and gorgeous. A fantastic choice of hearty home cooked food and a menu to suit most tastes. The bar has a great array of real ale, hand pull and bottled along with a good stock of draught and bottled cider and lager. The staff were very friendly and couldn't help us enough. I had heard about this place from countless friends and will defo be going back again and again!
Great Western, The – HuddersfieldMy wife and I visited Voda Bar & Kitchen last week for the £7.50 two course meal. We had visited before when it was Lounge 68 and was never disappointed with the meals, but on this occasion it was outstanding. The fish pie and accompanying vegetables were cooked just right and was followed by a generous portion of sticky toffee pudding in a rich sauce. The quality was excellent and the staff charming. Can't wait to go back.
Voda Lounge – HuddersfieldGood British food - good service and nice location. We have been several times, always welcomed by Mary, the owner. Homely atmosphere. Recommend.
Moorland Lodge Restaurant – HuddersfieldR.E The slip in the once beautiful Beaumont Arms. The service leaves a lot to be desired, having ordered the house red wine at the bar it took ten minutes to reach our table and was chilled not at room temperature as red wine should be. The atmosphere wasn't as bubbly as it once was as much as the new landlord tried his hardest to liven the place up. After being constantly bugged by the gentlemen the food came and it had a lovely aroma, finally something was going right for our birthday gathering. I ordered the sirloin steak which was ordered rare and it came medium to well and i should know the difference as i am a chef. To the chefs defence there was trouble by the waitress understanding what i was asking for so the mix up could be directed in the direction of the service. I love steak but this one tasted like it had been cooked on a pan or a griddled used to cook many other types of food. Everybody at the table were happy with what the ordered but not excited as we used to be with other menus in the town centre. We still left a tip, thinking about it my tip should of been make sure everything is better in two Sundays away when we return.
Beaumont Arms, The – HuddersfieldI have to echo the previous comments. This is a little gem of a pub, out of the way high up in the Pennine hills. The food is superb, incredible value for money (check out the steak and kidney pudding). They obviously have a trained chef doing the cooking and the Sunday roast puts most pub offerings to shame because they use fresh vegetables (and no frozen Yorkshire puddings!). Really relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. Make a visit, the uphill slog your car has to make is worth!
Rose and Crown – HuddersfieldGood fun, very good atmosphere, good service, good food. Simple! Just Good.
Volare Mediterranean Restaurant – HuddersfieldIf you would like a night of being ripped off and laughed at then you should visit. My local kebab shop serves better and more honest meals than the pretentious, stuck up, out of a jar laxmi farce of a restaurant.
Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldWe eat out all the time and rarely get a bad meal; this was quite an experience... No STOP, I mean BAD experience! The Starter was microwave to death, rock hard kebabs! The main was so sweet I thought I was eating desert! We sent all the food back without eating and the so called chef accused us of being after a freebie when we complained!!! Freebie, surely we would have eaten it if we were after a freebie? Very bad attitude and we were made to PAY I’m utterly discussed!
Laxmi Restaurant – HuddersfieldHaving attended a Civil Ceremony on Friday 6th June at Moorland Lodge I can confirm the meal afterwards was, as usual, of the highest standard. The service is second to none. The tranquil atmosphere and surrounding views are very special. All round it was a wonderful occasion.
Moorland Lodge Restaurant – HuddersfieldI have eaten here numerous times and each and every time the food was gorgeous. Very pleasant atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. Just about to book again for our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend it and I personally would eat there every day if I could afford to!!!!
Grappolo Restaurant – Huddersfield
