Service was smashing. Seated quickly, attended to quickly, food came out rapidly and cooked to perfection. We purposely traveled over 20 miles for this visit and it did not disappoint. Will certainly return!

We visit every xmas for our team xmas meal and it's brilliant. The food and service is amazing and we'll be visiting again next year, thanks again :)

Excellent food, a real meat lovers dream. The minted lamb the main highlight for me - it was cooked to perfection

The rump was divine, the only thing which let it down was the chilli beef, really chewy, which stood out as not very nice from all the other well cooked meats

I’ve never ever tasted food like this! All of the meat was hot and just melted in your mouth. The flavours were just incredible. The staff were super friendly too special mention to the chef who went out of his way even when our cards were red to come over and offer us some of the meats that take a bit longer to cook. We will be back very soon!

Very much enjoyed our time at BotaFogo, the atmosphere was fantastic! Very friendly staff and the restaurant was very smart and clean. The food was amazing and we got to try so many new items, I will definitely be returning in the near future.

This was my first experience at Botafogo. The way it worked was explained clearly when we first got there and both staff members were very polite and patient as I got my head around the serving mechanics. All the food we had was delicious and I couldn't believe how beautifully cooked the beef shoulder was. I'm not normally a fan of beef but I would return just for that beef shoulder alone! The resturant was clean and welcoming, we were allowed to choose where we sat and the salad bar had lots of choice. I feel like I got my money's worth out of the £28 price tag but if I hadn't of been so hungry going in I might not have felt that way. I'd say it is the kind of place you have to go to feeling hungry.

We ate at botofogo on Friday night. The meal was lovely, the service was great. We definitely didn’t eat at much as the £28 charge but we didn’t mind as the food was good. The only thing that let you down was the suggested service tip, which put almost £10 on to the bill rather than just suggesting it it was added on to the bill. We did leave a tip but in this current climate we left a smaller one, this wasn’t because we didn’t appreciate the service it was because we used a lot of out disposable income coming to your restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic place too eat, the salad bar especially the kidney beans are gorgeous, the meat was so amazing, I am not a lamb eater so passed on that, but my husband is and loved it. beef shoulder and sirloin wow fantastic, gammon beautiful. Cannot recommend this place more it is amazing

We came here for a 30th birthday, the food was really nice the meat kept on coming! The salad bar would empty very quickly but was refilled as fast as they could! They also brought out chocolate cake and sparklers for my partner and his twin and sang happy birthday, staff were lovely! Overall all good experience and would go back.
