Very good lunch with lovely menu options, attentive service and a good wine list with several choices by the glass. Shame there were not more diners enjoying as we did. Recommended

The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonGreat place to meet for dinner. Food is great and staff are very welcoming.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonFood, atmosphere and value for money were great. Service was good and very friendly - but food and wine took a long time in coming ! It's the time of year for the open fire to be lit !
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonSuperb lunch at The Pheasant yesterday. Really friendly attentive service, outstanding food & great atmosphere. A keeper for Lunches in the future.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonSuch a lovely meal again at the Pheasant. The staff were so friendly and can not do enough for you. We wasn’t sure what red wine to have and Thomas kindly let us try a few and my cosmopolitan cocktail was to die for. I went for 2 course for £20 which was absolutely a bargain. Tonys partridge was out of this world and my plum frangipani was stunning. Thank you so much Zoe and Martin we will be back very soon.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonLovely dining room, friendly attentive service and great food
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonI had a very enjoyable meal with family and friends on Saturday the 5th of November, the service, the food and drinks were excellent as usual,we have used the Pheasant at Keyston several times and we keep going back so that should give a clue to any prospective users
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonOur first visit to the Pheasant and we will be going regularly from now on. The welcome from the staff was warm and inviting and the restaurant is comfortable and looks fabulous. Our food was excellent, the main meal of venison sausages, mash and cabbage was extremely delicious, well presented. Our puddings were equally impressive and I couldn't have wished for better. The service was excellent too and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thanks.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonFour of us had lunch and it was really good quality and absolutely excellent value for money. A lovely atmosphere in a very special environment The staff were very attentive Can’t wait to go again
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonI have not visited the Pheasant for some 30 years but keen to meet our friends who live nearby. What a complete delight and setting in the countryside and... Not to see burgers and chips on the lunchtime menu. The four of us had a mixture of starters and main. The amount/s we had were more than ample so much so we did not have enough room for what might have been more delights! We shall definitely visit again very soon especially before Christmas. Thanks to the very tentative staff.... Wishing you all the best success in this difficult times.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonNice welcome . My son and I only had a main each . My son had the fish pie ,which was dry and the hollandaise sauce was split . My mussels were ok tiny and the sauce thin and watery . The service at the table was great ( I’m sorry I don’t know his name but he is often there on Friday /Saturday ) No one acknowledged our leaving ,or said “Thankyou “ or “Goodbye “ It had been a cold day but the fire wasn’t lit . Overall ,I was really disappointed. As a local I really really want the pub to be successful, but the food was average .
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonDelicious, as usual. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Thank you
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonVery enjoyable evening meal. Starters freshly made. Main meal freshly made too. The halibut was delicious. Puddings good too. This was the first time we had visited with the new owners and it did not disappoint. Staff pleasant.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonNever a negative. Have always enjoyed our visits & meals always exceptional. Recent visit, a birthday lunch with my Stepmother. Excellent meal, halibut, delicious. They kindly brought out a Birthday Plate to make our celebration more special. Looking forward to our next visit!
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonMy first visit to The Pheasant at Keyston was back in 1984. I've visited several times over the years since and always found it a great place to entertain and be entertained! On this latest occasion, we received a very warm welcome from excellent staff. The menu was well balanced and clear for each dish. Whilst the "set price lunch menu" items were marked on the al la carte menu, there were no restrictions in mixing items. The food was very tasty and prepared from quality ingredients. The Black Pudding, which we were told was "homemade", was particularly good! The staff were very accommodating over moving from our assigned table after the meal to a table more suitable for the exchange of family presents. It was an excellent location, close to the A14, for the family to meet together when travelling from different parts of the country. Altogether, a very pleasant and satisfying experience.
The Pheasant at Keyston – HuntingdonI normally go to the Pheasant for Sunday lunch. I went for Friday lunch this time. I can’t praise the Pheasant high enough for the quality of the food the staff ,who are extremely friendly and that goes for the owner too who obviously cares about her customers. I think if you have never been book it now it’s a great place.
