The Rising Moon – HydeAbsolutely fabulous meal, the manager couldn’t do enough for us. Booked again in January for brother’s birthday
The Rising Moon – HydeFabulous Sunday lunch. -Absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely recommend
The Rising Moon – HydeGreat food, and value, excellent service as always. The Belgium waffles are a must.
The Rising Moon – HydeA friend and I come to the rising moon every 2 weeks or so for lunch and a chat this week my friend was very dissatisfied with her lunch she had the sticky pork and it had a lot of bones init she did complain and was given a new meal but the second one was not much better and as I hope u can imagine it did put her off her meal and by the time her second meal came I had nearly finished mine so overall we were not too happy this week . As I travel from the Fylde coast to get together this spoiled it for us .
The Rising Moon – HydeEnjoyed a fabulous meal on Sunday evening. Staff were extremely helpful.
The Rising Moon – HydeEnjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch with family Good service and a good atmosphere and very nice food.
The Rising Moon – HydeEnjoyed the Sunday lunch, the staff were so lovely. The service was 5/5. The price of the food was very reasonable.
The Rising Moon – HydeBooked a table for my birthday with the family. Had a lovely meal, and very attentive staff members.
The Rising Moon – HydeThe food was as good as it always is. The service was extremely poor however. We were celebrating a birthday and spoilt by the fact that when I asked the waitress to take away two cocktails which didn’t taste good she didn’t handle it courteously. She was quite confrontational. I also had to ask three different waitresses for the dessert menu and had to wait 45 minutes for it. If my grandkids hadn’t been with me we wouldn’t have waited. First time I haven’t left a tip. Not sure we’ll go back again now. Such a shame. Especially as we were going to book a festive meal
The Rising Moon – HydeBooked a Sunday Lunch. The pub and dining area are lovely. The staff are spot on, friendly and efficient. The beef was too chewy for me and the roast potatoes very dry. We think both the roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings were from frozen. However, there were generous portions on the plate, the veg and potatoes were very tasty. Based upon my first visit I'd try other places before booking from the Christmas menu.
The Rising Moon – HydeFour of us enjoyed a lovely evening on Sat 5 Nov. Great food- as always- I can recommend the rag pudding! My grandson can also recommend the chocolate brownie- he scraped the plate clean! We can't wait to go again.
The Rising Moon – HydeI booked Sunday lunch for my mother and I, it didn’t disappoint, lovely Roast Lamb Lunches.
The Rising Moon – HydeBooked a table for 9 people for a family meal on a Saturday lunchtime. A few of us were stuck in traffic and arrived late but this wasn't a problem. The food was really good; the squid starter was lovelyand spicy. We all got massive portions; my sisters cheese pie was huge (and really good- I stoke a bit). The Rag pudding was top notch. We will definitely go again. The only thing was that the music was interfering with conversation on the long table, maybe an area of the pub without speakers could be considered, especially for customers who might have hearing difficulties.
The Rising Moon – HydeHi, I just wanted to write to thank the staff for their service and also to compliment the chef and the kitchen for the quality of food we received recently. As a table of 8 people varying from 92 to 4 years old most of us had something different to eat and everything was most enjoyable. For anyone wanting traditonal food with good portions then you can't go wrong! We will definitely be back. Nick
The Rising Moon – HydeEverything was OK apart from not clearing the tables
The Rising Moon – HydeWent in at lunchtime for lunch staff are very friendly so you can't fault that. We both had chefs chicken curry which was excellent. Would definitely will be going again soon. It would also be nice if they did homemade chips instead of frozen chips.
