The Rising Moon – HydeExcellent food, great service. Can’t do enough for you and very accommodating. Love it here.
The Rising Moon – HydeThe food is excellent & also a great choice for coeliacs like me who have to eat everything gluten free. I had to check the onion rings that were on the top of my food & as they weren't gluten free the staff handled it very well. They were extremely apologetic & had a brand new meal made due to the cross contamination of gluten. The service & food was great & I will definitely eat here again. Highly recommended.
The Rising Moon – HydeWent for a meal pre booked table. Was not very busy when we arrived. Meal was very nice but after ordering service was very slow waited half hour for starter and hour for the main meal. When ordering coffee was told they needed table in 15 mins not impressed. Sad really when meal was good.
The Rising Moon – HydeExceptional as always, food second to none, atmosphere as you would expect in a popular pub, service was top notch, wish I could remember the young mans name but thank you all
The Rising Moon – HydeLovely Sunday afternoon the food is lovely and was nice and chilling
The Rising Moon – HydeAfter thinking I had booked a table tonight the lovely waitress pointed out I got the date wrong lol but she found us a table even though they were busy, service was good and very friendly food was amazing as usual fully enjoyed our visit especially the lovely Gee who was out waitress she went above and beyond very friendly x
The Rising Moon – HydeLive the Rising Moon, unfortunately the service is rubbish! Waited nearly 20 mins before food order was taken, took ages for food to be brought out. Food was absolutely divine and always is, shame about the service.
The Rising Moon – HydeWe hadca table booked for 6.30 yesterday. Although the food was beautiful, we unfortunately had 2 women with 5 kids who were so loud. The kids were left to run around before their food came and after they ate. One of the children was constantly screaming but the adults did nothing. Nothing to do with the food which we enjoyed l, but maybe the lady in charge might have asked them to quieten down a bit. Table behind and next to us were also annoyed. Just spoilt the evening .Also the youngsters who were serving seemed to gather round the bar instead of checking if we needed more drinks, which we did and eventually went to the bar ourselves.
The Rising Moon – HydeWe enjoyed a meal on Saturday 24th August 2024. We were served by Grace who was friendly, helpful, efficient and funny! Although at 6.30ish, the place was quite busy , we didn't have to wait long for either drinks or food. The food was hot, and plentiful and as we had two friends with us who were visitors to our area it was nice to see that they were impressed. We will be visiting again!
The Rising Moon – HydeWe popped in for lunch on Sunday with my mother. Staff were friendly enough, though a little slow to take orders, despite being right at the start of lunch service. We all had a roast and had very mixed opinions on the food. Veg was very al Dante, which is just how I like it, though my partner prefers it done a bit longer. The meat we all agreed on. The chicken was tough and chewy and the lamb was just awful. Mother had one taste and left it on the plate. Mine was overcooked, tough and full of gristle. Very disappointed, especially as the lamb came with a price premium. Can't comment on dessert as we didn't bother staying for more. We would have raised the issues with the staff at the time, had anyone bothered to do a checkback.
The Rising Moon – HydeEveryone of the staff were hard working and constantly cleaning love this pub
The Rising Moon – HydeFood was lovely as it always is. The service however was really poor. The place was virtually empty when we arrived but it still took 15 minutes to take our order. Plates were left for too long after we had finished our meal as the staff were all congregated around the bar talking to each other an on their phones. We weren’t even offered the opportunity to look at the dessert meal so made the decision to pay and leave. Was left waiting at the bar to pay while the girl behind the bar flirted with a ‘gentleman’ whose language was terrible. For the first time ever I did not leave a tip.
The Rising Moon – HydeAs always the food and ambiance was second to none. Welcoming and friendly staff very accommodating.
The Rising Moon – HydeWas very busy when we arrived for our table booked at 7pm but took 15-20 mins for the drinks order to be taken by which time we had already gone to the bar to order. The food order was taken instead but took an hour to be served. The food was very very good as always though! Bar staff and waitresses were friendly
The Rising Moon – HydeThe food is absolutely beautiful and well presented, the staff were very friendly and polite with a welcoming smile, highly recommend (or should I not say its good and keep it a secret), well worth a visit.
The Rising Moon – HydeThis was the 2nd time I had visited for a meal, cannot fault the food, but the service was a letdown, after our food arrived no one returned to ask if everything was ok or if we needed anything, after we finished our mains,no one brought us the menu to pick dessert or ask us if we wanted more drinks, eventually one member of staff noticed and took our order for dessert and drinks, waited again, drink order not put on system, had to go to bar to order drinks,2 staff behind bar ,busy on their phones instead of serving, dreadfully service ,but again I can't complain about the food
