The Fleece – IlkleyVery nice restaurant, visited a few times. Consistently good food and atmosphere. Albeit told there was not a menu available. Front of house female rather brusque but efficient. Male waiter attentive. It would have been an excellent apart from the two negatives.
Emporio Italia – IlkleyGreat little café in Ilkley. Food was very nice, a panini and a soup. Most noticeable plus was the friendly banter of the young cool serving and management team. They open at 5.30 am so deserve to be successful!
La Stazione – IlkleyWe visit regularly, we always receive a high standard of service and the food quality is amazing. Would recommend this place every time!
The Wheatley Arms Hotel – IlkleyI was a lucky girl to be whisked to the Box Tree for a birthday lunch. Loved it!
The Box Tree Restaurant – IlkleyAbsolutely love Monkman's. Been many times and recently had a lovely birthday lunch there. My favourite place to eat in Ilkley.
Monkman’s Wine Bar & Restaurant – IlkleyThis restaurant is a gem, very nicely decorated and in lovely surroundings. I have been a few times now and have recommended it to friends and family. The food is wonderful and good value for money and the staff very courteous and helpful.
Clevedon Restaurant and Bistro – IlkleyTried out the early bird menu for a friend's birthday. A little unimaginative and the dessert was dull (cheesecake made with jam) but the soup and chicken were delicious.
Monkman’s Wine Bar & Restaurant – IlkleyThis is a nice cosy little bar with a great varied menu.No starter as we were in a rush but they looked interesting. I had rump steak although not my choice of steak it was better than some t bones and fillets i have had in the past. My partner had seafood crepe which was fantastic we fought over who finished it, always a good sign. We shared a sticky toffee pudding now this was amazing. I will be shot down if anyone finds a better one (im a big sweet tooth). If you do please let me know i will drive to it where ever it is. We will be back to The Yard again next week to try more on the menu.
The Yard – IlkleyWent here last week for a friends birthday dinner. I have to say I was suitably impressed. The menu was made up of a balanced mixture of modern British cuisine that I have to say was right up my street! I went for the venison whilst the rest of the table went for a mixture of steaks, pork belly and one seabass. All of the food was stunning, I will definitely be back for the venison, and one of my colleagues is still raving about the pork belly served with rhubarb! All in all it was splendid food, great atmosphere and great value for money! We will be back.
The Yard – IlkleyThe Clevedon Restaurant is a gem and a real find. I encourage anyone to give it a try.
Clevedon Restaurant and Bistro – IlkleyAudley Clevedon Restaurant is a real find. The food is fab, the surroundings sumptuous and the service impeccable. I have eaten there on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. I would, without question, recommend this venue to any one either for a meal or a function - both are catered for brilliantly.
Clevedon Restaurant and Bistro – IlkleyThe Clevedon Restaurant hosted our 2011 Networking Christmas Party and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was divine, the setting was lovely and the atmosphere was great! Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced food - highly recommended!!
Clevedon Restaurant and Bistro – IlkleyCame here for the early bird menu. Other than having to wait a little too long for my drink (had to ask for it again after finishing my starter, and the waitress had clearly forgotten all about it) the service was excellent and the food delicious, as well as beautifully presented. Would visit again.
The Wheatley Arms Hotel – Ilkleywhat a lovely place the food very nice and the staff were wonderful ,we will be calling again soon i hope ,worth every penny
Clevedon Restaurant and Bistro – IlkleyAfter dining at the Cow and Calf on the evening of the 19th March, and being a regular customer , I am sorry to have to say that the service was appalling. We ordered our drinks and meal at the desk and after some wines not being available we sat and waited for our main course, which took some time to arrive. It was hot and well cooked and presented. However, when we ordered our dessert we waited around 50 minutes for it and decided we could wait no longer. When we queried this at the desk we were told there was no slip for our desserts, even though our waitress had enquired previously when they would be ready. We paid and left without coffees or desserts and were very disappointed at our treatment. I think it will be a long time before we will be back.
Cow and Calf Vintage Inn – IlkleyThis was our first visit to the veggie since the new owners took over,it has to be said we were somewhat reluctant. However we need not of worried,we arrived after a lengthy walk across ilkley moor & were welcomed in by Julie (the new owner) she was friendly & informative. After long look over the menu Julie helped us decide what to have, I choose the Veggie Mezze (large & plentiful) & my husband the Veggie Burger (much enjoyed) Both arrived promptly & were delicious & well presented. Afterwards we were unable to resist the temptation of the Guinness cake (amazing) & coffee. I must say we will certainly be visiting again soon. I feel sure Garry & Julie will do a marvellous job here.Good luck to you both.
The Veggie Cafe – IlkleyVisited Audley Clevedon bistro and nearly gave up finding it as it's at the top of drive. So glad we persevered as it is a real find. The views are lovely and the food and service were fab. Had 2 courses for £9.95 their current offer - and all very good quality - a bargain. It was fairly quiet - only another couple of tables in but we loved it - relaxed and not frantic and a beautiful building. Will return - to try their Sunday lunch next - it's our new favourite and wondered whether to keep it a secret or not!
