Really disappointing. Half the cocktails unavailable as it was Sunday and they were out of gin. Rocket and Parmesan salad was a handful of rocket with a tub of processed grated Parmesan dumped on the top. Spaghetti salmone contained huge chunks of lemon slices …complete with rind. Told it was part of the dish despite no mention of it on menu. Very little salmon. Finished off with two weak warm limoncello.
Avanti – JesmondWe had an absolutely fantastic authentic Italian meal. The atmosphere was good for a Monday and the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Every one of us agreed we would definitely be back. Would totally recommend this lovely restaurant.

Avanti – JesmondBooked this early (5pm) and were the first diners in. Very attentive staff and quickly set us up with drinks and antipasti for the table. The starter had a bit more than I usually expect (always a good thing) and all three of us enjoyed them massively as we did with our main meals. Only come to Newcastle as a yearly visit but will come back to this lovely little restaurant.
