The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeVesuvius is a gem. We enjoyed good food and great service in friendly and unhurried atmosphere - its best to be hungry when you get there, because you’ll want to make the most of the menu. We will definitely be back!
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneWe had an excellent meal on the Bank Holiday weekend. The welcome and service were first rate. We were told we were amongst the first to try the new menu. My wife had pork belly and I had lamb shoulder both delicious. Followed by lemon tart which we shared. Washed down with a few glasses of val rose and Sauvignon blanc served crisp and cold as they should be. The host also gave us a couple of sweet digestifs on the house. We sat outside and it was warm and sunny and started off our day trip to Margate really well. I would thoroughly recommend the Slab.
Slab Brasserie – MargateEnjoyed another great lunch for Seasoned Citizens. Excellent meal, good choices and very friendly service. We go there regularly with friends and never disappointed.
The Five Bells – RochesterLovely restuarant, attentive staff. Food & drink excellent and competitively priced. Indoor & outdoor seating.
Chestfield Barn – WhitstableLovely Restaurant, Superb real Italian flavours. Felt like I was back on holiday at Lake Garda.
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneNever disappointed by the best Italian restaurant in Maidstone. Food superb and lovely staff. You must go if you’ve not been.
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneFirst time going and I'm ashamed it's taken me this long considering I've lived in Maidstone my whole life. The staff were amazing and we were not rushed at all. The atmosphere of the restaurant is spot on and the food was fantastic. Will be back soon!
Vesuvius Restaurant – Maidstone4 of us came on the 17th Sept. Had excellent food. Such lovely welcoming staff. The whole evening was just lovely. Will definitely go again. Thank you
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneA definite for seafood lovers, with plenty of vegetarian options for couples parries with a mix of taste. Vesuvius food had helped me and wife see through successive lock-downs but it was great to be able to return in person having visited only once before, years ago when they first opened. Special occasion as well as my wife & I celebrated our anniversary. Food was even better in the restaurant, delicious with more options available. Excellent service - squared away with a shot of Limoncello.
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneA lovely Sunday lunch in front of a fire that we shouldn’t need in September. Shouldn’t need it, but it was very welcome this year.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe enjoyed a lovely meal with very friendly service. We had a number of delicious tapas with a freebie thrown in. 5 small dishes were quite enough for 2. We thought some candles on the tables would have helped the ambience and to mark the transition to an evening venue.
The Med – Margate3rd visit here and just as good as the 1st ,amazing menu and amazing food ,lovely staff and a really nice feel to the place ,can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu and to sample the huge choice of beers as this visit ,i was driving ;)
Vesuvius Restaurant – MaidstoneI was recommended here by a client and it did not disappoint - we headed there for roast and it was delicious! I used to review roasts back in London so it’s an obsession of mine, I’d give this a solid 8.5/10
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeI had lunch with my friend in Chestfield Barn last week. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful (both inside and outside). Food was delicious, portion is very generous, the people working there are very friendly and helpful. Our club has decided to book Christmas lunch there this year.
Chestfield Barn – WhitstableFirst time being at the Chestfield Barn was amazing the atmosphere was so cozy and warm. The waitresses were so friendly and helpful, food was definitely best we've ever had hats off to the chef. We will defiantly return again 5 stars!
Chestfield Barn – WhitstableWe were recommended by a friend and, I must admit, probably would never have gone hadwe not been recommended. We were very pleased in every way we did. The food was excellent. The venue was comfortable and welcoming and it was certainly value for money. We will certainly be returning and recommending it to other people.
