The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeI hadn't realised that it would be quite cold inside The Plough when we had lunch there yesterday. My fault - I should have thought that the doors would be open post-Covid! We did have to wait quite a long time for our meals, but maybe this is because of staff shortages, and therefore understandable. Our waiter was very good. But I must mention the Tomasz' Brownie with chocolate sauce and cream..,..it's not at all a brownie as we know it, i.e, with a thin crisp surface but a very soft inside. This brownie is rock hard!
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeRoast was outstanding.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeA very nice Sunday lunch, very good service from all of the staff, thank you. The ale was exceptional.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeLovely lunch in a gorgeous location.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe walked from Tonbridge to The Plough and arrived just short of their kitchen closing, it was busy when we arrived but we were helped immediately. I had the halloumi salad starter that was delicious and my friend had the yorkshires also yum! The staff were attentive without being annoying. Having walked out of The Ivy Tower Bridge this week, this was something that was very much appreciated.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeWe had a wonderful lunch celebrating my wife's birthday yesterday. Both the food and staff service was exceptional. Nikki was so helpful and made the afternoon so enjoyable. All our friends left raving about the lunch!!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeDue to the covid restrictions when my father died we decided to have a belated celebrations. We decided on the Plough after hearing good reports, and are very pleased we did . Hazel with who we dealt was very helpful and all the staff who made our special day even more special. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone

The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeFantastic roast dinner in a beautiful building. Highly recommended.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeThis was our third visit this year , the previous two visits had been underwhelming. But this visit was great, though still the same menu , the portions are now ample and the food was excellent. I had the salmon which was a good size portion with a fabulous pesto crust ,lovely potatoes and excellently cooked veg, others had the lamb kofta which was also plentiful and very tasty. The service was quick and the waiting staff excellent being amusing and polite. Didn’t have the kids with us this time but the garden is great. An easy walk from Tonbridge park via powder mills and the new estates woodlands. Puddings are overpriced.
The Plough and Barn at Leigh – TonbridgeThe food and service is always fantastic.. They always manage to find us a table, which is good as I'm always leaving it till the last minute to book, The kids love the play area which is fully visable from the outdoor seating area, so brilliant to take the kids to, The food is really good x
